Prior to working with the amazing staff at Amesbury Chevy, I would dread the car buying experience and the games that typically accompany it. At Amesbury, the customer service is exemplary and they don't waste your time with the constant guessing games and bartering back and forth. It's an honest approach and I feel like the staff truly listens to the wants and needs of their customers and then helps to deliver them the perfect vehicle. From the time of purchase through years of service, all departments are friendly and welcoming and put the customer first. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone searching for a new vehicle and you won't be disappointed. More

I got the last 2017 Chevy SS My salesman's name was Kelcey. He was very nice and enthusiastic, though it's hard not to be enthusiastic about an SS. He was thorough and concise. What happened to customer service? I went into the dealership on Monday 09/04 and a sales person by the name of Chris started to help me out. He helped us look at some trucks and we fou I went into the dealership on Monday 09/04 and a sales person by the name of Chris started to help me out. He helped us look at some trucks and we found one that we liked and were ready to move on. The salesperson said that we had to sign a purchase and Sales/order and also put a 1000.00 non-refundable deposit today to hold the truck and for the dealership to honor our offer. We said we would like to do a trade-in, and we said we would go and get the car and bring it to the dealership within 15 minutes and we could continue on with the deal. The salesrep then snatches the Purchase and Sales agreement off the desk forces it into his folder and tosses it into his bag. He then grabs the pen that was on table and throws it in his bag and looked at us with this angry face as if though we had done something wrong. He then starts to argue with us about how we should do the $1000.00 non refundable deposit and that we did not keep our side of the deal. We are purchasing a $20,000.00 truck, no human being is going to make radical decisions and just start signing papers and giving money away. He was also trying to make us fill out a credit application when we had already told him that we did not want to because we already had a pre-approval from our bank for $35,000.00 with a 2.49% APR. My fiance and I stood up and walked out with the intention of going back with our trade-in, as we walked out I decided to go talk to the sales manager because of how rude the sales representative was being. The sales representative then starts to argue with me in front of his manager out loud in the dealership with other customers around, the sales manager had to yell at him to stop. The sales manager ran out to me when I was about to drive off and said he apologized. However, we were mistreated for no reason, the sales rep had an easy deal laid in front of him and we were not asking for anything ridiculous, we even agreed to take the truck with the rear bumper all busted and mangled and dents above the rear passenger tire. I mean we are EASY customers, already came in with our financing and we were ready to go home with a truck. After that situation, we figured that we do not want to spend our money at that dealership, there is plenty of comparables to the truck we were getting and it was not like we were getting a sweet deal. If this is how we were treated before we gave our money, how are we suppose to be treated after we give our money. We were looking at the Red 2010 Chevrolet Silverado with 52K miles on it, I would love for management to reach out because this was appalling! More
