I came to this dealership for service on my 2010 Terrain due to the closing of the GMC dealership in Libertyville. I had received a $ 50 gift card from Sullivan stating that they would be my new GMC dealer due to the closing of the GMC dealership in Libertyville. I had received a $ 50 gift card from Sullivan stating that they would be my new GMC dealership so I thought I'd try them out. I first went on their website, which is really well put together and informative, and realized that it is very easy to request a service appointment online...definitely a good start. I also saw a coupon online for 20% off any service or repair, but it was expiring on 2/28. I was not bringing my car in until 3/1, so I asked them in my request for a service appointment if there was any way I could still use the coupon. Well, I received an email back pretty much right away letting me know that my appointment was confirmed for 3/1 and also received a phone call from Victor(?) telling me that it was not a problem for me to use the coupon. Again, I was very pleased to hear this as I needed an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and fuel injector service and am a single mom without much extra cash. Since I am not familiar with Dundee Road at all, the worst part it seemed was getting there from my job in Lincolnwood. However, once there I was waited on right away. Everyone was very friendly and thanked me for choosing their dealership when they found out it was my first visit. This was at 1:00pm and they estimated it would take 2 - 2 1/2 hours to service my car. I decided to walk across the street to grab some lunch, which was not easy since I couldn't tell if there are no sidewalks or they were just loaded with snow. (I guess the businesses around there don't consider shoveling sidewalks important?) Anyway, after lunch I looked around in one of the stores and arrived back at the dealership around 3:10pm. I was sitting in their very nice waiting area when at 3:20pm I was informed my car was done...right on time. So I must say my entire first experience with this dealership was very easy and enjoyable, and since I was able to use both the coupon and the gift card, quite economical for the work performed. I will definitely use them for future service appointments and would readily recommend them to others. P. Alpert More
I am very happy with the service I received from the Sales Consultant I worked with, Chris Lahey. More importantly, Chris was very knowledgeable about the Buick Enclave that I was inquiring about. When I asked about other vehicles he knew everything about those vehicles too, off the top-of-his-head. This made the transaction go smoothly. He took his time and explained everything to me and showed me how everything worked in the vehicle, things I would have never taken the time to figure out on my own. I very much appreciated that. He was very patient and easy to work with and his customer service was great. Every time I contacted him before and after my purchase he returned my calls immediately (can't say this about other Sales Consultants) and didn't make me feel like I was bothering him with all my "issues" that came up. I would be happy to contact him about my next car purchase. I can't give an overall rating to the dealership because I'm currently working with the Service Department and so far I'm not feeling as good about them as I did Chris. I will update what I think about them when my car is completely serviced. More

He took his time and walked us through the accessories in the car and scheduled a follow-up to walk through their operations. I will definitely refer people to Dwayne should the be in the market for a new car. More

If you would like to pay for them then they can get them for you. Here is the Wikipedia definition of (Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud used in retail sales but also practiced in other contexts. First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price; then customers discover the advertised goods are not available. Other products are "switched" for them; however, these items are often costlier) Would recommend you not to do business with this dealership. Even when told them I would write this review to protect other people from getting taken advantage of. They said to me one or two bad review are not important. More
Steve was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He spent a lot of time searching for the vehicle that most closely fit my requirements. If you decide to finance your auto anywhere but at Sullivan Buick GMC you'll probably save money and aggravation. Suffice it to say you should never let a car dealer tell you that you must purchase an extended warranty before you'll be approved for a car loan by the lender. This is false and illegal. Stating you will get a better interest rate or you must buy GAP insurance by the Finance Director is illegal. Most GAP insurance is included in better auto insurance anyway. It was included in mine. These are tactics one would expect from a fly-by-night used car lot. Not a dealer with purported perfect ratings. Google 'Forced Extended Warranty' for more information on these back end product scams. Oh, one more thing about Sullivan, if you write your concerns to the General Manager don't expect a reply. More

I had been working with Chris Lahey on the purchase of my new car and talked to him on the phone and emailed him back and forth several times since last fall in discussing which car would be best for me and waiting for the Encore to come out. I saw it at the Chicago Auto Show and knew that this compact SUV would suit me very well. Chris Lahey never pressured me and told me he would work with me on getting my new car for the "right price and right terms", and he did. Chris and the entire staff at Sullivan Buick were the best dealership staff I have encountered in 10 years. They carefully explained every aspect of my purchase, financing and ongoing commitment to taking care of my new car. I am very glad I purchased my new car at Sullivan Buick and recommend them highly. By the way -- my beautiful new Encore was great on the drive home and I'm so glad I got it at Sullivan Buick. More

Visiting this dealership was a better experience then I have ever had at any other automobile dealership. Everything is organized and no pushy power selling going on here. Pricing was very fair. I have also had the fortune of dealing with the service department for several years, the service manager Mike Baker was a service writer at the former Mitchell Buick in Mt Prospect, and I followed him from that location. What a great relationship that has been, and hopefully will continue to be. More
I recently bought a new GMC Acadia from Sullivan GMC, I worked with Gerald Hamilton and I could not be happier with the vehicle or the service that he provided us. I have used Gerald at every dealership he has been at and every time the experience is better and I am not certain how that is possible, but it is true. Gerald is an amazing talent. We were in and out of the dealership in a very short time and that was great because my sons, 5 years and 5 weeks were not going to put up with hours at a dealership. He programmed my phone and my wife's with the bluetooth in the car and if you are looking for a car and dont call Gerald, you are making a huge mistake. More
