I was looking for a Buick and I wasn't even sure New or Used. The whole process was so much better than with any other dealership I ever had to deal with. i didn't even expect to find a car being that the car I originally wanted was already sold. Chris suggested another car that fit all my needs and he sold me on it. It was a very easy decision for me beca I originally wanted was already sold. Chris suggested another car that fit all my needs and he sold me on it. It was a very easy decision for me because I felt he really had my best intestions in mind. It was very pleasant working with him and that really speaks volumes for this dealer. My husband and I were really happy with the overall experience and they even paid for our lunch because I couldn't make a deal on an empty stomach. I have already recommended 2 family/friends and I've only had the car for 2 days. I would definitely go back for my next car purchase. More
AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I just came from Sullivan Buick where I bought a used minivan for my wife (I know - not exactly exciting, but she said she wanted it). I have to say that this was the most pleasurab where I bought a used minivan for my wife (I know - not exactly exciting, but she said she wanted it). I have to say that this was the most pleasurable car buying experiences that I've ever had! The facilities were clean and uncrowded. I started in the service area. My wife has been looking to replace her '02 Town & Country with 175K for the past few weeks. She loved that car, but the old girl was getting a little rough around the edges (the car - not my wife). We looked at a bunch of private owner vehicles. What a waste of time! We started looking at dealership ads on the internet and we found exactly the car she wanted at Sullivan Buick. We drove to the lot on Sunday and it was sitting out in front. She immediatly fell in love with it. By some stroke of luck, the car was unlocked! We were able to look it over from head to toe without any pressure. I don't think this is normal (that the car was unlocked over the weekend), but it was great for us. I decided to stop in the dealership on my way to work and see if it was still available. I got there at 7:45 and the service facility was open, but not the showroom. The service facility was very clean and the folks who write you up were all very friendly. A young lady asked if I had a question. I told her I was interested in finding out about the minivan outfront. She told me that the showroom didn't open until 9, but that I was welcome to wait in the customer lounge. I took her up on her offer. The place had fresh coffee (from a grinder!) and free WiFi. I sat down, grabbed a cup of coffee, and broke out my laptop. It was great! About 10 minutes til 9, the young lady I spoke with in the service department came to check on me and to see if there was anyone that could help me in sales yet. That was really nice of her! That is when I got to meet Gerald Hamilton - Sales & Finance consultant. Gerald was great to work with. I told him what I wanted and he sprung into action. We were test driving the car within 5 minutes. The car rode like a dream. Gerald was extremely informative. He went over the CarFax and the mechanic's report on the car with me. We talked about financing and trade-in. The whole experience was enjoyable. It is clear that Gerald knows what he is doing in helping people get through the process of parting with the old car and moving into a replacement. There is a huge psychological hump to get over. Gerald was a real pro - courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. We were able to make a deal relatively quickly. There were no hidden fees or shadowy upcharges. I kind of knew what to look for because I did the "4 hours in the closing room" bit at one of those rinky-dink corner lots the weekend before. What a joke! The only thing missing was the plad jacket and the big gold chain! There was none of that at Sullivan. Gerald went over the few numbers and everything was just as I thought it should be. And then it was time to talk about "the financing". I had been preapproved by my credit union at a fantastic rate. I figured it was going to be a hassle to work with the dealership and the credit union to get the deal done. But that's OK, the car was beautiful, my wife had already approved, and I could see my nights and weekends freeing up if I could get this deal done. Enter Dan Martino, the finance director. What a nice man! Dan was a regular guy (no gold chains or plad jackets!) who seemed genuinely interested in helping me. He was able to offer the same rate as my "smokin' hot" credit union deal and all I had to do was sign a few papers and we were done! In the mean time Gerald had the car washed, came up with the extra key and mats the previous owner brought in and checked over my car for anything I might have left behind. The entire experience only took a few hours and none of them were painful. I decided take the day off and bringing the car home in the middle of the day. My wife was was really excited when I got there. I sent her a text (before I started driving home) saying "The car was no longer available..." When I got close to home I sent another text saying "Because We Bought It!!!" and then I pulled into the driveway with her new/used car. Let's just say that she was VERY appreciative! I would like to say that I too am very appreciative of the service and the experience that I had in buying a car at Sullivan Buick! (Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for this review. I just want other people to get the same great service that I did!) Thank You! More

Very low pressure sales. Very laid back. Buying cars is NOT fun, but this was very stressfree. Would purchase again. Dwayne definitely made me feel unstressed. NOT fun, but this was very stressfree. Would purchase again. Dwayne definitely made me feel unstressed. More
I discovered Sullivan Buick GMC on Auto Traders while searching for a preowned vehicle. I met with Cary Netchin and test drove a 2006 Buick Lucerne which was gorgeous and drove beautifully. Geoff didn t just sell us a car, he started a relationship. My husband and I are new to Arlington Heights (and the Midwest for that matter) and look forward to continuing to work with Geoff and S relationship. My husband and I are new to Arlington Heights (and the Midwest for that matter) and look forward to continuing to work with Geoff and Sullivan going forward. Clearly getting a fair deal is only part of buying a new car and the extra work that Geoff put in to walk us through our options, assist us with our trade-in and ultimately get us on the road happy and satisfied was very much appreciated. In fact, my husband and I were a bit crunched for time and Geoff has made himself available to finish taking us through the options of the Terrain. We couldn t have been happier and look forward to continuing to work with Geoff and the rest of the team at Sullivan as we enjoy our new car! More
