Amazing sales, customer service and financing experience Let me start by saying that I HATE having to buy a new car. But, with an 11 year old van, it was a necessity. I went into Hyundai City just after New Year's after my husband and I inquired about a leased vehicle. They showed me the new 2017 Elantra - went with a basic model. I worked with Robert (Williams) and test drove a vehicle. He was great - no pressure, asked lots of questions about what I needed versus what I wanted in a car; he was incredibly knowledgeable about all the Hyundai's and recommended the Elantra specifically. After the test drive, comes the excruciating part - figuring out the payment. Couldn't swing a lease, and the monthly payment they came back with was a little high for my liking, so Robert and I parted ways - no hard feelings. A little over a week later, I noticed a follow up email from him had gone into Spam. On a whim, I emailed him back with a dollar amount for the monthly payment I felt was reasonable and asked if they could make the deal work. He called and told me no initially - again, very polite. An hour later, he called back and said he spoke with the owner and finance and they COULD do the deal. To make my life easier, they had me email my license, insurance and proof of residency to the finance department ahead of time. I got back to the dealership around 6:30 that night and was out the door by 8:00. Painless - and Cassie in finance was a pleasure! Personable, relatable, understood this was not my first vehicle purchase. No pressure, no gimmicky up-charges. Would definitely go back there for the next vehicle and would definitely recommend the whole dealership. More
