I recently purchased my Toyota Camry from Car Sense in Hatfield and had the pleasure working with Sean Hiett. This is the third time we have been to CarSense in the last 12 years. The experience just continues to improve, rather than declining due to complacency. After shopping online, we decided on a car and went over to have them bring it to the local store so that we could buy it. Sean was happy to see us, and actually remembered us from last year when we bought a truck from him. He did not remember our names - but did know what I bought - close enough! Anyway - back to the review - They brought the van from Uwchland, looked it over, and decided they could not sell that car to anyone - and immediately sent it to auction. We found a second one - this time in Pittsburgh, which they brought in for us and it wasn't quite as advertised by the dealer out there. We passed, and finally found the car we purchased at the Cherry Hill store which they brought over for us again. During the whole process which was only 4 days; Sean maintained constant contact, let us know what was going on at every turn, and above all was genuinely very apologetic. It has been 3 weeks now and we have told numerous people about our experience. Nearly every person we speak to just can't believe a dealer would risk a sale by refusing to sell a car - let alone bring three different cars from three separate stores just for us to look at! 2 of those we told have since bought cars at the Hatfield store. This car buying experience was the smoothest most stress-free transaction I have ever had when making a big purchase. I was able to get the vehicle registered and insured and it was mine all in under two hours. The staff even drove my new car home for me which I thought was extra nice. It seems like Allan went out of his way to make sure I got everything I needed. I didn't feel pressured in any way and the customer service was amazing. I noticed that even if a staff member at carsense wasn't working with me, they were always polite and had a smile on their face. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, anytime. With a little time to kill while my car is being taken care of, I figured what better way to show my appreciation, to CarSense and Kate, than giving them a good review to help you find them. Everything you would need is right here. From pristine cars of every make and model to service that's been quick and resonable for me. Although my car was in such great shape from day one, I can't say I've had even one major issue. So, for those wondering where to get thier next car, no matter what it is, go to CarSense. I went to car sense to look at a car that I found on-line. I read some people complaining about the blue book prices being off. The one on this car was about 200 bucks, but the car was just lowered a grand in price. I looked up my own blue book prices and still got about 5,600 off. The car had 3,900 miles on it looked brand new. I am an Officer in the Military and explained that my main reason for choosing car sense was for the life time engine warranty. They were able to accommodate because my duty station will be in GA. All I have to do is have a certified ASA tech work on the car and keep documentation for later on. Matt was very friendly, did not pressure me or attempt to persuade me to buy the car. I wanted to see another car in automatic they had it sent from PA for free. They asked if I wanted the warranty, I myself did not deem it necessary, I told Matt no and that was it, he didn’t try to word it in 3 different ways for me to change my mind. They also worked with the bank to get me a low APR rate. They have a tea and coffee area set up for customers. I don’t know about fox news but I’m there for my car I don’t care about what’s on T.V. But the TV and tea was good to have. I recommend Matt to anybody looking to buy from there if you want a genuine straight up guy. He agreed with me to get the stick SS, which was 5k cheaper than the other automatic I was looking at. He wasn’t there trying to sell me the more expensive car. There was also a guy named Dan there who was really good and he also recommended the cheaper car. My experience was very good with these guys and the experience I got from them was way different than your typical stealerships trying to gain your business in a day. It took about a week for me to pull the trigger on getting the car. Great place! More
We have purchased our last three cars from Car Sense and have recommended them to all of our friends. I drove immediately to the dealership thinking about all the things I was going to have to cancel today due to not having a car, and trying to figure out who could pick me up from Car Sense. When I arrived I was greeted by Chris who went right out and looked at my door. Two bolts and less then 30 minutes later I was back on the road. When we purchased our first car from Car Sense we had problems with that car and Car Sense held the manufacturer accountable to thier warrenty, made endless calls on our behalf, got us a rental that the manufacturer paid for and resolved our problems quickly with no inconveinence to us. We still have that car, and have purchased two more since then! Every thing they advertise is true, no haggling, no crazy high pressure sales men, just great cars, & great service. I also have to say my other BEST experience has been purchasing the extended warrenties on all our cars. I love hearing "there was no charge for today, your repairs are covered by your warrenty." Traded a 2000 Lexus RX 300 for 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee at their Hatfield Branch. Overall a very nice experience. I agree that the vehicles manuel would be very helpful; apparently they do not supply. Our sales persons said they would 'trek one down' and send it to me.....that never happened. We also asked for a cargo cover (the salesperson agreed to help find one as future jeeps arrived). This feature was very important to my wife, not so much me; we haven't seen the cargo cover yet, nor do I expect one given the feedback I read here........ More
I purchased a 2008 Explorer, it had a transmission problem that required the trans be removed to be repaired. Carsense worked with the local ford dealer to fix and get my SUV back to me quickly. I didn't have the extended Carsense warranty but they gave me a loaner to use anyway. The Explorer has been great ever since the repair a year ago. Very happy with it and Carsense Exton. More
