I had just totaled my 2010 Subaru and was nervous and very uncertain what I wanted to do and how much it was going to cost. I told him I wanted another Subaru because it is a great performing car and has saved my life twice in accidents where I was not injured in one, and slightly in the other. He said he would research something for me and we established the criteria over the phone and I made an appointment to see him. When I arrived, Marc showed my a car that totally suited my needs and my pocketbook. His kindness, reassurance and savvy saw me through what I had considered a disasterous situation. The icing on the cake was a red bow attached to the rearview mirror of my new car as he had remembered doing on my previous car. Rick is the most down-to-earth car salesman I have ever worked with. He was upfront with what he could and could not do. Several dealers in NJ led me to believe I could get a vehicle for $1000 under dealer worked with. He was upfront with what he could and could not do. Several dealers in NJ led me to believe I could get a vehicle for $1000 under dealer invoice, but they neglected to mention the high documentation fee, processing fee, etc beforehand. I still believe I could have received a better deal in NJ (not to the extent of $1,000 under invoice), but Rick wasn't misleading and as a customer, I appreciated it. Additionally, he went above and beyond when it came to customer service. I registered the vehicle out of state and he worked directly with my insurance provider to save me the headache of waiting for customer service. Overall, a great experience. -Steve More

Perhaps learning from our previous ventures, we simply informed Marc as to what we could afford; how much we could spend on a down payment, and the amount of a viable monthly payment. Marc’s manner was professional, articulate, direct and engaging. He provided practical options as we test-drove a few vehicles. Consequently, we purchased a car and left the lot smiling, which was a pleasing surprise. Marc’s integrity and honesty were evident in his warm demeanor, his proficient knowledge about his product, and his straightforward and lean approach to salesmanship. As Marc and my wife worked out the financials and automotive details, I ate a hotdog that was being served at the dealership’s 4th of July weekend barbeque. I was thinking about our conversation with Marc. I found out that he was reading the epic novel, Ulysses. If you encounter a car salesman who is threading through James Joyce during the summer, you will buy cars from him for a long time to come.
