Worst customer services I bought 2 cars a week ago, was never told they only came with one key. Now they want me to pay for the spear keys. They said they would detail my car I bought 2 cars a week ago, was never told they only came with one key. Now they want me to pay for the spear keys. They said they would detail my cars and didn’t do anything, in fact one was not even inspected and should not have been sold to me. The customer experience manages nor their GM Peter Vandenberghe did nothing, absolutely worst service ever, the only reason I give a 1 star is because they had the car I wanted. DO NOT buy cars from them they will disappoint you. More
Exactly Why Used Car Dealerships and Salesman Have a Bad Rap I'm only giving this dealership one star because I don't have the option to give it zero. This dealership is a prime example of why used car sales peo I'm only giving this dealership one star because I don't have the option to give it zero. This dealership is a prime example of why used car sales people and used car dealerships have such a terrible reputation. After my experience here, I'd honestly rather have spent an hour and a half in my dentist's chair having a root canal. It started out fine, and the salesman I was paired with was nice enough. After a test drive and a decision to move forward with applying for financing, it seemed I was on my way to owning the car I wanted. I was a little taken aback when I was shown the interest rate I was approved for (which I was assured was "a great rate", when it actually wasn't), as it was quite a bit higher than I was expecting, but I figured I'd move forward and refinance as soon as I could. The salesman brought to me a stack of paperwork to sign to finalize the deal. When I was almost through the stack, I came across a section of the contract that listed a total amount owed to the dealership that was about $4200 higher than it should have been, considering the sales price of the vehicle, less my down payment. When I questioned my salesman on it, he first acted like he didn't know what I was asking, but then explained that was the total owed to the dealership, including the gap insurance and the dealer's warranty. While he had previously casually mentioned the dealership offered a warranty at a "great price" that he'd go over with me, he never actually mentioned the details of the warranty, nor the cost of it, nor did he mention a word about gap insurance until I found the $4200 difference in my contract. He also never gave me the option to accept or decline either the gap insurance or the warranty; he just put it in, obviously assuming I would not notice or know any better. When I asserted I wanted neither the gap insurance or the warranty, his demeanor toward me shifted instantly, and he became hostile and condescending, insisting I provide him with a reason for declining those options. Our conversation became heated, and I ultimately told him the deal was off and I got up to leave. After asking me whether or not I was buying the car, to which I told him no, he literally kicked his chair and stormed off. While I did receive a call from the manager shortly after I left, to see if I would be coming back to finish the deal, when I explained what happened I received a scripted, insincere apology. After reading some other reviews online about this dealership, I found my experience was not unusual. If you look at this dealer's own website, you can see other reviews, but if you read the fine print, they state they can and will remove reviews with or without reason. I am a reasonable person, and a very nice one at that, until I realize I am being deceived or treated unfairly. I feel it is my duty to warn everyone else out there who will read this to avoid this dealership at all costs. Even if you think they have your perfect vehicle, their deceitful practices and blatant lack of integrity render them completely undeserving of your business. More

The van was in good condition for the most part and the price was marketable. The sales rep that sold us the vehicle was humble, respectful, and hospitable. It was my dream to get a minivan, and the process to purchase the vehicle was good overall. Then came the NIGHTMARE. I had to drive back to this store (>30 min away) the next day, because they made a mistake on the financial paperwork. Then, when it came time to register my vehicle with the DMV (after waiting for almost 3 hours), they told me that the dealership didn't send the title paperwork to the County. I spent my own money to purchase a temporary registration. After calling the dealership, they told me that they would send it to the County right away. After going back to the DMV to get my registration two weeks later (after waiting 2 hours there), the County said that there was something wrong with the paperwork so they sent it back to EchoPark 5 days ago. EchoPark did not send it back (until today I found out later). Either I could spend more of my money for another temp registration at the DMV, or I could go to an EchoPark and get it for free there. Unfortunately, I would have to drive over half an hour just to get a temp registration that I shouldn't have had to get. After the unfortunate result, I spoke with EchoPark, and they told me they sent it to the County today. It's just unfortunate that they didn't do it in time, and they didn't notify me of the delay. They have taken me away from my time with family and at work. I had to spend my own money to rectify their mistakes. ECHOPARK SAYS THAT WE CAN GET THE NEW CAR FEEL WITHOUT THE NEW CAR PRICE. THAT WAS TRUE FOR ME. UNFORTUNATELY, IT DID NOT COME WITH THE NEW CAR PROCESSING. Keep this in mind if you're considering this dealership for your next purchase. UPDATE: After speaking with (and venting at) the title person and manager, they told me I can get a temporary registration at a closer location. They offered me a couple things as compensation for the inconvenience they have caused. I'm thankful they were willing to hear me out. I will change my rating/review once I know they will follow through with their word. More
Interest rate scam! Buyer beware! I am extremely disappointed with Echo Park in Thornton. I stopped by their location on 104th because it’s right down the street from my office. The sa I am extremely disappointed with Echo Park in Thornton. I stopped by their location on 104th because it’s right down the street from my office. The sales guy started off extremely friendly. His whole sales pitch revolved around the idea that they are different than other used car dealers. He said that they have no hidden fees, they are a no haggle dealer, and how they don’t hide anything from the buyer. This sales process took over four hours. I let them know upfront and after my credit check confirmed that my credit score is over 800 and my salary is well over six figures. With perfect credit and over 18 years at my current employer I should have received the current market finance percentage which at that time was approximately 3.2%. They came back with an approval of 6.79%. This dealership Lewers you in with the promise of being easy to work with and fair pricing. They attempt to scam you with literally double the interest rate that you qualify for. I feel that if this is their business model is a smoke and mirrors strategy. In my opinion they are the textbook example of a bait and switch operation. Their practices are not ethical and I found them to be deceiving. I did not and will never purchase from them. After I left the dealership they called me and said that now they were confident they could get me the interest rate that I wanted. I will take my business elsewhere. Buyer beware. More
They don't stand behind their product. When speaking to the sales associate he assured us this car had all of the items we wanted but when we receive the car the air conditioning and the seat heater did not work. Since these were items that we had asked about we assumed that they worked. I contacted the manager at Echo Park and he told me to take it to a local repairman (our Buick dealer) and get an estimate, which I did and faxed it to them. I have spoken to 4 different people at Echo Park over the last year and they have told me each time to have my repairman fax them the paper work which they tell me they have done many times and I still have not heard from Echo Park. I am very disappointed in Echo Park and will never purchase from them or anyone that I can’t test drive the vehicle. I work hard for my money and paid a lot of money for the car and feel cheated by them. More

Multiple repairs Bought a vehicle from echo park. My family has purchased several cars from them in the past. Unfortunately pretty disappointed.! The car was purchased Bought a vehicle from echo park. My family has purchased several cars from them in the past. Unfortunately pretty disappointed.! The car was purchased and about 3.5 months later the drive shaft had to be replaced. We get that replaced and then 2 weeks later the passenger presence module goes out. I was also told there were a couple other things wrong with it. I called echo park as I know they pride themselves in the type of inspections they perform on their used vehicles. I do believe that some of the things that has went wrong or is wrong should of been caught with this inspection. When I spoke to echo park they did look into helping me however because the car was 19 days over the 90 day warranty they will not help me at all with the cost of repair. I was not asking for much but some help would have been nice especially with 2 major things going wrong with the vehicle in just a little over 3 months from buying it. I will not be buying from this dealership again.! Please beware and make sure you get a thorough inspection before you buy a vehicle. Just trying to save someone else from the same type of experience. More
