Find Another Dealership! On November 24th, my husband and I went to Five Star Auto in Biddeford, Maine and dealt with Roland about trading our caravan for another vehicle. Rol On November 24th, my husband and I went to Five Star Auto in Biddeford, Maine and dealt with Roland about trading our caravan for another vehicle. Roland suggested a 2009 Chevy Traverse. When we test drove the vehicle, there was a loud grinding noise in the back. That should have been a clue right there. When we brought the vehicle back, Roland acted very surprised by this but did agree to fix whatever it was but we had to leave the vehicle there. The next day when we called to find out what was wrong with it and how long it would take to fix it, we were told that it needed a whole rear axel. How can you sell an"inspectable" vehicle with a broken rear axel? Anyway, a week later we got the vehicle back, mind you, this is an hour and a half away from home, to find out that the rear defrost doesn't work, the windshield washer pump is blown, and the bolts to the subframe are falling out. When our local mechanic checked it out, he laughed. When we called Roland about the issues that we were having, we were verrrrrrry rudely told that they are only responsible for fixing "inspetable" items. So in other words, you don't need to see out of your back window. Fortunately for us we have a local mechanic who has common sense and understands the importance of being able to see out your windows and knows what it feels like to put a family in a vehicle that I would consider to be unsafe. So, before you consider buying a vehicle from Five Star Auto, I would seriously consider going elsewhere. There are plenty of other dealerships out there. More

dont buy from them Paid 5000 dollars cash for a piece of junk. They knew there was issues with it when they sild it to me and didnt care. Bought it and on the drive home it started acting up. They refused to give me my money back and kept the care for almost a month claiming they would fix it. They did nothing to help me. They tried offeri g me other cars but for a higher price. All they wanted was my money. There was something wrong mechanically wrong with most of their cars. They fix the bare minimum to save themselves.money and then sale the care to you. Thats all they care about. The manager just argued with me continuously. I was given the run around when they had my car and they never called me. I dont recommend them. You will regret it. They arent approved by the better business bureau for a reason.. now i have a car i paid 5000 for in my front yard because i spent all my savings on it.. More

They don't stand by their word! After expressing concerns with reviews we asked for it in writing that they would stand by the vehicle when our local mechanic looked at. The salesman was rude and had poor service. I was very disappointed and thought his rude behavior was uncalled for, even though he did apologize. Our mechanic cited several concerns but they wouldn't make good! Very poor service and they are shady. Beware!!! More

I stopped by to see Pat and his team and they found me a car at a very reasonable interest rate. I was looking for a particular SUV and even thought they didn't have it on their lot Pat went above and beyond and found me one elsewhere. The team at Five Star was very professional throughout the entire buying process and I will go back for my wife's car as well. More

In my most recent purchase, I test drove the vehicle of interest, loved it and within that day the trade and final sale was completed all with lower payments and nothing added on from my trade in. I don't have great credit but they got me approved for a lower rate than my other vehicle. I have had no problems with my new car and love it!! More
