I finally had to demand loudly to see the manager. I was told I would get a spare in a 2023 car with 190 miles. The manager, Pedro Rosario got me the spare & gave me his # for other concerns, & there were other concerns, no owners manual, no mats, low tire pressure light came on while I was driving back on the highway freaking this 70 yr old lady out. This was not a good experience. More

Bought a car yesterday from Hgreg in West Palm Beach, Florida. Got a deal at $1500 below their first cost. I then took it to Pep Boys immediately right up the street from them. They give you 5 days for a return if anything is terribly wrong and will exchange for a car of equal value with the same loan.The car passed with flying colors except for two minor things. It needs a new headlight and the base that holds the cover closed for the air filter as it has stripped holes in it and the screws can no longer hold it down. I was given a We Owe paper and they are going to fix both next week. I had to wait an extra day to purchase the car as it was at a Ford dealer up the road to replace a simple emergency brake light on the dashboard. (I was given a 2nd We Owe paper stating that I will be getting a check for $200 in the mail for my inconvenience. I didn't expect that!) As someone posted previously about being forced to take the extra body and parts warranty, that is totally not true. I told the finance manager I didn't want it and he took it off immediately. They also offered me GAP insurance that I declined because I can get it from my own insurance company. Now, I don't agree with their $1200 dealer fee and think its far too high as Florida's average is less at $700. But, I let it go since they sold me the car for way less than KBB value. My salesman Denson Desarme had a great sense of humor and was very easy to get along with. He listened to my problems and even dealt with my wife on the phone who wasn't as patient as I was, lol. He said it wasn't a problem and he is trained to de escalate all situations. My loan interest rate came in at what I thought was a little high. But the finance guy Guesly Moline met me half way, dropped it a couple of points, and we compromised to get the payment in my budget that I could afford. In the end, he was very pleasant and we even joked around for a bit while signing the final contract. So far, I am very happy with my purchase and will most likely take my business to them again. Once I'm on the way home the car had a terrible smell like mildew. I hate this car and now I'm stuck. They had nothing else I was interested in buying. Dont buy cars from here. They don't care if you're unhappy. Go someplace that has a return policy in place. I will tell all of my friends and family to never purchase from Hgreg. More
