They do not have enough properly trained and qualified service technicians. I booked an appointment for standard service - oil change/tire rotation a few days in advance. Two days before the appointment I ran over a dead animal, and a lot of water (I'm reasonably sure) began dripping underneath the car. I called that day to see if I could bring the car for them to take a quick look underneath to see if a hose or something just got knocked loose. If it was a bigger problem I'd leave the car. Answer - they don't take same day appointments. I said, OK, I have a service appointment on Friday I'll drive my other car, can someone look at this car, a 2018 Sonata Limited, on Friday. They said yes...so, I went to drop the car off on Friday morning and the service advisor said that I would need to make a separate diagnostic appointment. I asked, you can't check to see if there is a loose hose or to see the source of a leak underneath the car? He said no, I would have to make a separate diagnostic appointment. But they would do a standard check of the car when they changed the oil and rotated the tires. I also had the volume-up button on the steering wheel stop working. I asked if they could give me an estimate to fix it or the cost of the part for me to do it myself, if it's not under warranty. First, this is not something that should fail on a 5-year-old car, but apparently is a common problem for 2018 Sonatas. They said, no, I would have to make a separate appointment. I asked the advisor why the person who took my call before did not tell me that? That person said that someone could look at it when I brought my car in for service. The advisor simply stated they needed a diagnostic technician and couldn't do it; I'd need to make a separate diagnostic appointment. He didn't offer to help me find an appointment, to see what's available, to see what he could do. In fact, he didn't act like he wanted to help me solve my issues at all. I left and made an appointment elsewhere...ZERO issues, incredibly helpful, squeezing me in on a Saturday. If Hyundai of Trenton does not have technicians that are trained enough to find the source of a possible water leak underneath my car, then I don't trust them to change the oil, rotate the tires, or diagnose my brakes when the tires are off either. Maybe the source of the water was as simple as the clogged AC drain that maybe got unclogged. Maybe it'll turn out to be something more serious. Nevertheless, I will never bring my cars there for service again. In addition, we have two open leased vehicles. The lack of quality local service is going to seriously influence our decision whether or not to purchase these cars at the end of the lease. Are you seeing this sales department? This dealership needs to seriously take a look at how they operate and function. Everyone needs to be on the same page, so customers are clearly and properly informed. Our time is important and we do not appreciate having it wasted. When it was Davis Hyundai our experience was somewhat better. It is unfortunate that the situation at this dealership since becoming Hyundai of Trenton has devolved to where it is currently. More

Disgusting. The process of doing financing is another nightmare. Car picked up at the end of May, but they pushed the payment date to July 15th, even thought it could be as early as July 1st. Trying to steal half month of interest. More

I first reached out to them and told them I was interested in purchasing an electric vehicle. I filled out their financing application and waited patiently. In the course of 10 days they were slow to say the least... Uninterested with an interested customer. I didn't lowballed them, haggle with the price, and offer my full disposition. I emailed the GM and expressed that I was displeased with the lack of communication, and afraid that they would sell my car to someone else. The sales agent, Abeth Vincent, called me and got the ball rolling, but things didn't improve much. The whole process took three weeks... Needless to say, unacceptable. I only stuck around because I was very interested in the car. At one point I requested pictures and/or an inventory of the car. Since I was buying "as is" I wanted to know what the car included and what it didn't and I specifically mentioned as an example, the charging cables. The sales agent even mentioned sarcastically that it was an electric car, and therefore cables would be included. He also offered to send me a video for my peace of mind. I got nothing... Once I received the car, surprise surprise, no charging cables. When I called to ask about them, their reply was that the car was sold "as is". I got fed up when Abeth denied that we spoke about the cables beforehand (essentially calling me a liar), so I told them that I would be leaving this exact review if my problem wasn't solved because I had no way of charging my car at home. One of the managers got very defensive and asked me not to threaten them and offered to send me a check for the same price as some cable they found on amazon. I accepted the offer and hung up, but sadly, over two months later I never received anything. This is my worst buying experience. While I'm happy with the product and their fair pricing. I cannot believe what I went through to get this car. As much as I like it, if I knew what I was going to deal with ahead of time, I would've let it go... More

spoke to franz about a honda accord listed , after letting her know i was making a 2 hour drive she told me the price would be negotiable once i get in the dealership , today i took the drive only to letting her know i was making a 2 hour drive she told me the price would be negotiable once i get in the dealership , today i took the drive only to find out that the vehicle was not in the same condition as in the pictures, regardless, i test drove the car , after the test drive i tried to talk numbers with the agent helping me , he told me that the prices are non negotiable and that the sales team just says that to get you in to the store but that i could still attempt to put in an offer , after i put in the offer he brought me a finance sheet to the table and walked away w no context , the price on the sheet reflected the listing price and on top they added another 5k in fees , made me waste my time and trip just to tell me that it was a sales strategy to get me in the store by telling me the price was negotiable 1/10 do not waste your time with these guys. after i walked away instead of attempting to renogotiate they just told me “good luck getting ripped off somewhere else” More
