In June 2020 I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Palissade, ever since I had nothing but trouble with their customer service , or I should say THE LACK of it and I don't care attitude . About a month ago I've called this dealership and inquired about installing steps in my vehicle, , I was told it would cost $1500.00 ! I was previously given a WRITTEN note of $933.00 plus tax , I asked if they could honor that price , they said the best they could do would be $ 1.290. Needless to say I wasn't happy about it but told the manager I would go ahead and do it . I was informed someone from the service department would call me . It has been almost 2 weeks and still waiting for that phone call . I went ahead and contacted another dealership ( certainly NOT Jim Ellis ) . I am having my steps Installed for $936 .00 including tax . I also sent 2 emaisl to Mr Wesley Ellis , but no response from him either . Another note I would like to add , I took my SUV to have the interior cleaned . As I was driving home I noticed one item that was in the cup holder was missing ! I Immediately called the service department , but they say they couldn't find the item I've described . I was , and still very upset because this item had a huge sentimental value for me as it was something that belonged to my Dad who passed away . So dissatisfied with every aspect at this dealership ! . More
Saban Dawood was my sales representative and he made me feel very secure in my purchase. I visited the dealership a few weeks back hoping to purchase a vehicle, but learned that nothing was available. That feel very secure in my purchase. That didn't stop Saban from going above and beyond and constantly keeping me updated when a vehicle became available. I interacted with many other reps from other dealerships and non of them compare to the service Saban offered. He was generous and I did not feel pressured into my purchase. Very comfortable experience all around! More

I just recently bought my first Genesis 2015 3.8 from Jim Ellis in Atlanta. I live near Columbus Ga and I found my vehicle on cargurus with just 8k miles. When I initially inquired about the vehicle I was already scheduled to test drive for the exact same vehicle with 47k miles in Montgomery. I was contacted by someone who handles the online inquiries for Jim Ellis and was told the car was just picked up and hasn't been inspected and can't be looked at or touched. Then she advised me to go ahead and check out the one in Montgomery. That really bothered me so the next morning I emailed one of the sale associates (Darrow) and told him about the situation and asked him to inform me as soon as the vehicle is ready for sale. He called and told me that the vehicle was indeed for sale and almost sold it the day before but the lady bought something else. I told him to give me 2 hours and I'll be there. Three people tried buying the car while I was driving up. Thanks to Darrow Moore for being diligent and holding the vehicle for me. The only dealer I visited that didn't want to charge me add dollars beyond the MSRP because of the vehicle shortage. The extra cost I was quoted $3000-$4000.Not just Hyundai but other manufacturer dealers add dollars beyond the MSRP because of the vehicle shortage. To be fair I'm not sure if his other dealerships charge the up charge. More
5 star service!! I did a lot of research on what would be my next SUV. Feroze was patient and very thorough during this entire experience. I'm honored to be behind the wheel of that glorious monster. I've named my Santa Cruz Carlyle, and he's already become a Virginia Highland celebrity. I really don't think i've met a more knowledgeable car salesman than Saban. He just knew everything about this very tech-heavy vehicle. If I had a question, he had an answer -- a correct one! My whole car buying experience took about 2 weeks and 2 test drives, just to make sure I was making the right decision. The closing was straight forward and Sam Patel, the finance guy, was also very easy and pleasurable to work with. When both Sam and Saban spoke, you could tell that they had a ton of pride working for Jim Ellis. It seemed to be a very positive uplifting work environment there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from them! More
