Good Afternoon, It appears you came in for an oil change, a tire rotation, and diagnosis for along with a drivability concern. It appears you declined all repairs so we were unable to repair the vehicle. If there is something additional I should be aware of in regard to this situation please let me know.

I complained that the car was have severe surges when coming to a stop or when idling. Oil change, tire rotations and call back fixes were secondary to me. I was told it was an air flow sensor. Then that was fixed and it wasn’t the airflow sensor that was causing the surge. Now it’s something else and I’m sorry I couldn’t fix your car today. Disappointing given that I was fixing the car so I could have it shipped to Texas

I do see initial diagnosis lead to a faulty mass air flow sensor which did not resolve the concern, additional diagnosis lead to a faulty egr valve which is obsolete through Ford. The nearest EGR valve was located the next day but would need to ship from Iowa. I apologize but you were not charged for anything but standard diagnosis. We can not control parts obsolescence or local availability.

The repair of the rattle was fixed with epoxy instead of replacing what was broken. Also now I get an oil drip on my garage floor from a poor oil change. More

Repairs are performed at the direction of the manufacturer, headliner bracket is attached with epoxy from the factory so that is the proper way to reattach the bracket. I would like to revisit the oil change, and I hope you have reached out to speak with your advisor about your concerns.
