Great new car purchase experience! My wife and I were considering trading in two (2) vehicles, one a 2010 Range Rover, and purchasing a Mercedes Benz GLE 350. After visiting another Mer My wife and I were considering trading in two (2) vehicles, one a 2010 Range Rover, and purchasing a Mercedes Benz GLE 350. After visiting another Mercedes dealership, which didn't have the vehicle we wanted, I contacted M-B of Raleigh, via the internet, since they indicated that they had the vehicle, with the desired options we were seeking. My initial contact was with Farhan Ghanty, who listened to what our objectives were regarding trading in two vehicles and purchasing a Mercedes Benz GLE 350. After sending Farhan pictures of our vehicles and Trade-In valuation sheets for each, I heard back from him within 30 minutes with a trade in offer and sales price on the Mercedes we wanted to purchase. After a few conversations and text messages, I realized that Farhan was an incredibly knowledgeable individual about the Mercedes product. Throughout this process, Farhan was courteous, patient, and responsive to our questions and what we wanted to achieve. We made a trip to Raleigh from the North Carolina coast, where we live, and met with Farhan. M-B of Raleigh checked over the Range Rover that we were going to trade in, and within 30 minutes, they agreed with what we were looking for, price wise.The general manager, Bonnie Gramling, introduced herself, welcomed us, and assured us that they wanted our business. We felt very comfortable with the entire process, and went back to Raleigh yesterday and picked up our new Mercedes. We thank Farhan for his expertise and ability to introduce us to our new GLE 350! I walked into Leith Mercedes-Benz in Raleigh on a Tuesday and left happy on Wednesday with a new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV. He was friendly, genuine, and never pushy or condescending. You can tell right away he loves his job! He immediately asked me what I was looking for instead of telling me what I needed. A dear friend of mine, who is very knowledgeable about cars and the buying/leasing experience, went with me. George realized we were a team and worked with both of us. He was able to answer every question and was able to demonstrate what an incredible vehicle the GLC 300 SUV is!! I looked at Volvo, Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Range Rover. I didn't start out planning to lease a Mercedes. I've always purchased vehicles in the past so I wasn't sure how I would be received with a plan to lease. The experience could not have been any better!! George was the only representative who followed up with me after my first visit. He realized how important service is to me after I explained the nightmare I experienced with my last luxury vehicle with not one, but three dealerships. He introduced me to the Service Manager before I left and reassured me if I had any problems, just call him! George followed up with me after I left to be sure I was happy! I didn't think car representatives like George Brown existed. I did my homework before car shopping and read the wonderful reviews about George. But given my past experience, I was still skeptical. I couldn't have been any happier or have asked for anything I didn't get. The entire dealership was friendly and inviting, like they all enjoy what they do! George was kind and never acted like he was in a rush. He said he wanted me to be part of the Mercedes-Benz family, and now I feel like I am!! He exceeded all my expectations. Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh is very fortunate to have a person of his integrity and knowledge!! I know exactly where I'll go when I need my next vehicle. My heart-felt thanks to George!!! More
