Panama City Toyota is a family-owned company that has operated under substantially the same ownership for over 25 years. We have significant ties to the community, and believe it is our obligation to make Bay County—really the entire Florida Panhandle—a better place to live.
Although family has tenure in the community and in the automotive business, the current leadership probably has more experience as an automotive customers than as an automotive operators. Hopefully this causes us to see everything through a “customer lens,” and keeps us from ever forgetting that unfamiliarity can be intimidating. We strive to eliminate that feeling.
An early tagline for the dealership was the recognizable phrase, “Where Relationships are Born.” While this may not always be used in the dealership’s current advertising, the sentiment remains. Here, our team recognizes it’s not about us, but instead it’s about you, the customer. You are the main character of the story and we are here simply to guide you into the perfect vehicle to accomplish your goals.

These include not only Toyota certified used vehicles, but also pre-owned vehicles of many other domestic and foreign brands. I had an appointment for 9am, no one helped me for 25 minutes after the appointment time. Making an appointment was useless. They had my car from Saturday-Wednesday never getting back with any updates or minutes after the appointment time. Making an appointment was useless. They had my car from Saturday-Wednesday never getting back with any updates or returning my 2 calls. Then upon pickup I realized they didn’t even do all of the maintenance I requested. Needless to say I found a different dealership that was more than happy to help and had zero issues with. More

I bought the car used about a year ago. The car would bounce when the brakes were applied. I took it to Toyota for a brake inspection along with other items that needed work. I let it go for the time being. Last week I decided to get it taken care of. I took it in and specially told them I wanted a front brake job and rear wiper replaced. They only did the wiper and said the brakes were good. They said they couldn’t duplicate the brakes bouncing even after driving it. BULL!! They were so bad the front wheels would lock up under heavy braking on wet roads. Twice they failed to identify bad brakes. Then told me the drove it and couldn’t duplicate it. That is complete BULL. No possible way you could drive it and not feel the brake bounce. The rotors were bad. Real bad. After talking to them they ended up turning the rotors and the bounce is gone. I now have zero confidence in Toyota to diagnose any issues and I can’t trust the information they give me. They said they drove it? Untrue. No way they drove it. More
