Panama City Toyota is a family-owned company that has operated under substantially the same ownership for over 25 years. We have significant ties to the community, and believe it is our obligation to make Bay County—really the entire Florida Panhandle—a better place to live.
Although family has tenure in the community and in the automotive business, the current leadership probably has more experience as an automotive customers than as an automotive operators. Hopefully this causes us to see everything through a “customer lens,” and keeps us from ever forgetting that unfamiliarity can be intimidating. We strive to eliminate that feeling.
An early tagline for the dealership was the recognizable phrase, “Where Relationships are Born.” While this may not always be used in the dealership’s current advertising, the sentiment remains. Here, our team recognizes it’s not about us, but instead it’s about you, the customer. You are the main character of the story and we are here simply to guide you into the perfect vehicle to accomplish your goals.

Josey and Troy were phenomenal and seemed very genuine to me. I was hesitant to buy new and be taken advantage of as a young female due to my ignorance, especially since I had bad experiences at the dealersh me. Dropped vehicle off day prior for a 7:30am appointment. Went over what was needed to be done, which included a fix on the sunroof gasket and a full detail. The gasket keeps randomly popping out of place, was told all you could do was make sure it wasn't leaking. It's annoying to say the least that we have to keep resetting it and that's all that can be done. As far as getting a detail done, was told when I received the call to pick up the vehicle that a detail was no longer an option as they simply did not have time. Truck was going in for a 25k service and as none of this is a huge deal, but it's incredibly frustrating. Our schedules have to be adjusted to make these appointments, and rides secured. It would be nice to get everything done, as simple oil change can be done anywhere and will only take 30mins out of my day. Will continue to use the dealership but hoping for better communication and results in the future. More
