Have purchased between my spouse and I 3 vehicles within the last 10 years. Service for issues relative to recalls or any other maintenance issue HAS ALWAYS TRUMPED the competition. Unfortunately, I was shopping to purchase a truck in 2019. The truck rep. seemed aloof and was at very best not informing me of my potential savings with my credit rating. It actually was insulting as he called me up to 3 times but would NEVER answer my direct questions. I went to Ford and they worked with me and I'm very happy with my truck. Really wanted a Tacoma!! But that was the WORST sales rep I have ever encountered. I'm SURE HE IS LONG GONE. TOYOTA is my first pick. Your approach, attitude, and understanding relative to service and parts EXCEEDS the competition! My Ford has been a nice truck but their Service Department is trianwreck. My 2021 Highlander had an issue with the spare tire release mechanism and was replaced under warranty. The part needed to be ordered and came in within a couple of days. I was able to leave the vehicle release mechanism and was replaced under warranty. The part needed to be ordered and came in within a couple of days. I was able to leave the vehicle and take the shuttle home and was picked up at my convenience later in the day. Driver Mark was very helpful. The part was replaced and Matt in the service department kept me informed of the process every step of the way. Very satisfied with the quality of the service department. More
Appointment at 11am for oil change and tire rotation. Two and a half hours later car had not been taken back. It was going to be another hour before it would be done. I was told a number of service personnel were out sick. Unfortunately, this situation has been the rule more than the exception for me so I’m not accepting that as a reason. Spoke with the dealership manager and told him what happened. Had to leave without service being done. I was called the next day by the service manager who apologized and asked to reschedule appointment and said I would be taken care of. Arrived at 11am for the appointment. It was and an hour and a half before the car was taken back and another half hour until I checked out. The service person gave me $20 off my service. Frankly, it should have been free after all this. What is the point of having an appointment? You clearly over schedule with the anticipation of people not showing but that is a really poor policy. More
