Let me start by saying that It is evident by the friendly atmosphere that Perkins Motor Company is a family business. I visited Perkins the night before I made this purchase and met Jorge Cueto. As I got out of the car to look at a Used Jeep Wrangler, I saw a sales agent approaching. My first thought was "Here we go again." Mr Cueto was nothing I expected. He politely introduced himself and asked if he could help. Waiting for the pressure to buy, I stated that I was only looking around. His reply really took me off guard. He said, look around all you like, here is my card and there is also another wrangler over here that you may be interested in. What really floored me next was that he walked away and left me to look around. Wow, how refreshing. I am used to the hawking dealers that hassle you until you lock yourself in your car. From my experience, Perkins agents and dealers are nothing like that. Now let me get to my purchase. I went back to Perkins the next day and met another agent. He immediately went to find Mr Cueto. Mr Cueto and I took the jeep for a test drive and had a very nice discussion on a variety of topics. Not once did I feel any pressure to buy or that I was even on a test drive. When we returned to the dealership, Mr Cueto then retrieved the assessment of my trade and the Jeep information. It took some time but we finally came to an agreement and a deal was made. I can honestly say that aside from wait times, I have never had a more enjoyable time buying a vehicle. The no pressure approach from the Perkins staff is a real winning formula. Mr Cueto made sure that I understood that he was truly interested in getting me the best deal possible. I have nothing but the best to say about Mr Cueto and the entire staff of Perkins Motors. Just to add one last thing, There was a ding in the windshield that Perkins had filled before I left the dealership. Not required, but definitely appreciated. More
I originally bought a used Ford Explorer from Ernie back in 2010. Ernie has stuck with me through the good and the bad throughout the challenges I have had with my Ford and then with purchasing my newest v in 2010. Ernie was patient with me, he always followed up with me and he listened to what I had to say and/or what I was needing in a vehicle. He never pushed me in a direction that I didn't want to go and/or that made me feel uncomfortable. Even though my first vehicle had several problems that surfaced after my purchase (2 transmissions, no air and then a catalytic converter later), I appreciate Ernie and Perkins Dodge for working with me, getting me in to my second vehicle, providing my family and me with a safe and reliable vehicle that will help get us where we are needing to go! I am absolutely loving my new car! Thank you Ernie for being such a blessing to me, if it wasn't for you, I do not know what I would have done! More
First and formost, Rick Clavelli was very friendly and knowledgeable Sales rep. He was on his "A" game the day I showed up. He made a complex situation seem easy and straight forward. I really did not expect to purchase a New-used vehicle, but when they met or at least came close to the figures I was willing to pay, you can only drive forward with a deal. I've had bad experiences in the past with car dealerships, but this time was a pleasant suprise. All I can say is give these guys a chance and they will do what they can to make you Happy. They completed the trade as fast as they could. and Jeff Lee the fimance guy was pleasant and very fast, they answered all my concerns, I'm a very Happy owner of a new Truck. We went to Perkins after a visit to Colorado Springs Dodge on Woodmen and the difference in customer service was clear from the beginning. Colorado Springs Dodge sale reps were uninformed and very pushy. In contrast, Frank Claros at Perkins was very patient, easy going and helpful. He made us feel like we were in control of the process. He followed our lead as to what cars we wanted to look at starting with the Certified Pre-Owned Durangos and Jeeps. He allowed us to look and discuss, while prepared to answer our questions. After not seeing exactly what we were looking for in the pre=owned vehicles, we asked to see the new Durangos. You could tell he was really listening to pick up on our likes and dislikes. He identified a Durango at the dealership that had the overall amenities we were looking for and that's the car we bought in the end. My husband was able to work with him over the next few days to negotiate a price that we thought was fair and we were able to add the tow package to the vehicle and still pick it up by the following weekend. When I went to pick up the vehicle, he took the time to show me how everything worked and helped me program all the settings. It was a very good overall experience and we would highly recommend Perkins Dodge over other dealerships. More

Last Saturday, May 5th, we came in looking to do a trade in for our truck. Mark greeted us right away and quickly picked up on what we were looking for. He directed us over to the exact 2008 Jeep that we ha in for our truck. Mark greeted us right away and quickly picked up on what we were looking for. He directed us over to the exact 2008 Jeep that we had in mind and took us out for a test drive. He was both very friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely put us at ease. Once we got the financial process started, Mark also helped us come up with some back up plans if our plan A didn't work out. The finance team did a great job and was able to work out a deal that wouldn't break the bank and would allow us to have our dream car. The process took awhile, as car sales always do but, Mark made sure to keep us in the loop and kept us entertained with more information about the jeep we were buying and all of the services Perkins has to offer. After a couple hours we drove off the lot with big smiles. However, yesterday, less than 1 week later, the sway bar fell off. Luckily we were only driving about 5 mph at that point, if we were on the freeway, it could have spelled disaster. There was a clearly visible gash in the welding, something that could not have been caused in 5 days of in-town, light driving. It's baffling how something like that could pass safety inspections. It's very disappointing that just days after purchasing, our car is already in the shop for who knows how long. Luckily though, Perkins did give us a warranty and is fixing our jeep asap. Other than this unfortunate circumstance, our experience with the sale was great. And I would still recommend Perkins, i'd just recommend having an extra safety check done on site before leaving the lot when buying used. More

Hello, I gave Perkins, and Scott Matela a five star rating, because it truly was a great experience! I first stopped by in February 2012, I met with Scott, and have since seen other dealers and sales r rating, because it truly was a great experience! I first stopped by in February 2012, I met with Scott, and have since seen other dealers and sales reps. Most other sales reps are pushy, will try to get you into any car they can that day, and don't want you to waste their time, shopping around. I returned to Scott at Perkins because when we first met, he was not like other sales men, he seemed more of a family man, that was there for the customer. He listened attentively to our needs, and wants, and didn't push for a sale that day. We told him we would be in contact, we were still shopping around and needed to take care of some finances. Scott and Perkins continued to stay in contact for 3 months, until Monday, May 7, 2012, when I purchased my Hyundai Sonata. I am very happy with the purchase, and with the customer service provided. Scott wasn't even working the day I came in to buy, but when I called he said he would be there ASAP. I brought my wife and baby into dealership and they were very accommodating. I believe out of all the places we shopped, hands down, Perkins Motors had the best deals, and the absolute best customer service! The best part about shopping at Perkins was that I BOUGHT my car, I wasn't SOLD my car. Thanks guys! Nicholas Wakley More
