Let me begin by saying that I am a very selective buyer. I am painstakingly very cautious and slow to make a car buying decision, probably not the guy a salesman wants to see walk onto the lot. Prior to working with Paul I was actually leaning very hard towards another brand of truck. Pauls patience in working with me and his knowledge of the product was what turned my head and ultimately led to me selecting a Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. I must have visited the lot 3-4 times and taken multiple test drives. It would have been very easy for a salesman to become impatient and really push a sale rather than help me find what was a perfect fit for me. Each time I visted the lot, I felt like I was amongst people that cared about my experience rather than just selling a car. Making the deal happen: I remember remarking to Paul on one occasion that unfortunately I had champaign taste on a beer budget. With such tight criteria, it was looking like like I was not going to get what I wanted. Then one day I received a call from him telling me that I had to see a truck that just arrived on the lot. Because he was so in tuned to what I was looking for from both a price and features standpoint the decision was easy and I purchase the truck the very next day. I can honestly say I have never recieved better care both before and after the sale than I have with Paul. He was patient and helpful during the buying process and has been there several times helping after the sale as I had an oil change and added a couple added features to the truck. I now have a car guy! It was directly due to Paul's patience, product knowledge, unrelenting customer service and never say die attitude that I am now driving around in the best vehicle I have ever owned. To say I am a happy customer is to sell my experience short. Thank you Paul and to all the great people at Perkins Motors for all your hard work and putting me in the Truck of my dreams. There was no 'well, give me your name and phone number and I will get back to you', he just got to work immediately and found me a Dakota. I think they could have given me a little more for my vehicle trade in - maybe 500.00 more, but I was so thrilled with the service, timing and quick turn around as I will be riding away in my new truck in 24 hours, I can live with it. I would definitely recommend securing Scott as your salesperson at Perkins. More
