HORRIBLE, DONT CARE AT ALL, 3X TIMES BAD EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 3 DIFFERENT TIMES ....!!!!! I have gone to this PERKINS MOTORS dealer on 3 different occasions for 2 differ HORRIBLE SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 3 DIFFERENT TIMES ....!!!!! I have gone to this PERKINS MOTORS dealer on 3 different occasions for 2 different vehicles. On all 3x they have been horrible and careless the tech and the service advisor. No matter which service advisor i've had they always find away to try and out smart the customer, for some reason they think and treat me like i don't know what i'm talking about, not knowing that i'm a certified technician. This last time (today) i walk in for a tire rotation that apparently they could not do last Sat when i went in for service. I have a brand new 17 Dodge Ram Dually. the proper tire rotation for this vehicle includes breaking down the tires from the rims themselves and switching them out. By the way Dodge called me a few weeks before letting me know that because i bought this truck there was a plan that i didn't have to pay for because it came included with the purchase of the truck. Now both times that i walked in last week and today (by the way i'm here waking up super early to be there before they opened since it was advised by the last representative that checked me in last week. Point blank they tried to charge me after one person said that they had no problem doing the job and they seen the RAM PLAN, now he wants to try and tell me that i have to pay because he's not sure of they accept it or not. On top of that i told this character multiple times before i left the truck that i use the truck for hauling and that i need the tire pressures set for hauling and the rear inside tires needed to be 4 PSI lower than the outside ones. when i go to pick up my truck after having my truck for 5-6 hours, my two front tires are 83 PSI and 85 PSI..... my four rear tires are set on the following PSI... 62-65...61-64. All 6 tires on different PSI, when i drove back in after i check my tires, i told him that my tires were set to the wrong pressures, he didn't even look at what i was talking about. He said that he's going to go talk to the tech, and when he comes back without even looking at what tires are set, he tells me that the tech told him that he set the tires correctly on the specified pressures that the dealer calls for. NOW TELL ME IF THIS IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME, 6HRS AND BAD SERVICE WITH A SERVICE ADVISOR/ LAWYER. The service advisors name is TYLER LEIJA. And this dealer wont take care of your vehicle or you. By the way how is it that they have a courtesy shuttle that comes in @ 8am when they open for service at 7AM, soooo are you supposed to wait an hour to get ride back home and that if they stop at your place first. Def don't recommend this place to anyone that cares about their vehicle. More

Engine is shot on one overheat. dodges sensors are garbage, once they alarmed car was shot. Chrysler should straight up make better part and own up to there garbage. I have double warranty on this car and now I have to come out of pocket at least 1500$ to have them tear down the engine to prove their parts are bunk . Nobody has offered a rental car. my car has been at the dealership for 2 weeks. nobody submitted any paper work to Chryslers warranty dept for over two weeks. I personally had to contact them to get things started on the whole process. Chryslers warranty dept says they understand the situation but offer little to no help. This car came certified at 44000 miles and blew up at 83000 miles. sad part is they offered to trade it in at 1500$.., I still owe 4000$ on this faulty car. then they want to sell me a new vehicle with the negative equity rolled into a new loan. sell, sell, sell, seems like they are only profit driven and don't seem to want to deal with problems. not only that, the service dept provided false info to warranty dept stating I drove the car after it overheated. to bad I have the tow bill to prove otherwise, thanks guys way to go thanks for the honesty! This is the second car I have bought from them and I am questioning this dealership and dodge jeep Chrysler all together. My first car from them was good, this one not at all. My first instinct was to buy a Toyota or a Honda. I feel at this point I should have went with my gut feeling. However I thought I would try a dodge again since the first buy seemed to go well. I am totally regretting making this decision. they are just like most corporations, insurance companies so willing to take your money and not wanting to cover you when things go wrong. As much as I paid for the warranty, that's the cost of the engine. they would probably be at zero cost to them. if they really want to keep customers, try making better quality part, honor your warranties and keep your customers happy so they will continue to purchase vehicles. buyer beware that's all I am saying More

When they opened the doors and I got out of my car I was greeted by very Friendly People. My service advisor was Jerry Lane, and he was extremely helpful, friendly, smiled a lot and explained everything done to my car. I was very satisfied with the customer service! -Kimberly Ulmer More
Truck Running Great! Better communication = 5 stars. I took my truck into the dealership after going to another garage in town. The first garage did nothing wrong per se, they just couldn't find the part I took my truck into the dealership after going to another garage in town. The first garage did nothing wrong per se, they just couldn't find the part in stock anywhere that my truck needed. I wanted to make sure that the diagnosis was correct from the first garage, so I told the folks at Perkins the preliminary assessment, and told them that I wasn't certain. Turned out that from the technician's past experience he believed that the codes were probably indicating a problem with my valves. They decided to check my valves only to find out that their was no issue at all with them. They then proceeded with the replacement of my PCM- as per the original diagnosis from the first garage, and now my truck purrs like a cat. They were fair with me and worked with me on the charges. If they had figured the correct diagnosis the first time I would not have had to rent a car for a second day- but that was really a minor inconvenience. Really the reason that I was not able to give five stars (truck runs great!) was that I had to call a couple of times to get updates. I don't think that it was my service writer Jordan's fault. I think that the technician was taking longer than expected to get him the information. Regardless a smooth running truck covers a multitude of sins. More

Dodge asked me to carry it over to Perkins and let them look at it. They did and tried something that did not completely work but they tried, that is all I was asking for. They just serviced my vehicle for the first time and was top notch in doing so. Perkins could have given me the same run around but did not do so. I will have my Journey serviced there from here on out and will purchase my next vehicle from them. More
Left in the cold For off all I want to be clear that this review sites not include the sales Dept, this is service related. I took it in at my schedule appointment at For off all I want to be clear that this review sites not include the sales Dept, this is service related. I took it in at my schedule appointment at 8:30am for a check engine light along with a message that my engine oil is runninh too hot and the throttle sensor needs replaced. After waiting two hours to find out what the computer diagnosed, I approached the service writer to see how much longer before we find out what the issue is so we know if we should wait or leave the car and go home. He then tells me that the computeres just went down, which means my car sat doing nothing for two hours even tho I had an appointment. So I left with the idea that it would be another couple of hours. I then called a couple more times to find that the computers were still down. Then at 4:30pm I asked for a rental car so I could work the next day, and I was told that enterprise is now closed and I would have to find my own rental that I will have to pay for. They then kept my car for three days to find nothing wrong and said it had to do with a cold start below freezing. I then had to oay $130 for a diagnostic fee. Two days later my engine light is on again! More

They screwed up my online scheduling, had to call me and apologize and reschedule, which I did. Then I show up and they don't have me written down. Then took longer and cost (a lot) more than anticipated. Great folks but this visit was a "miss". Really expensive. EG: $99 for EIGHT door clips installed. Pretty disappointed. Julian (service rep) was fine, wasn't his fault. More
Horrible Service I came in for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee recall. The first thing the serviceman did was sell us an alignment. We were told that the repair for the recall I came in for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee recall. The first thing the serviceman did was sell us an alignment. We were told that the repair for the recall would take all day. No problem. We came back the next morning and it had just gone on the racks. I was told it should be about 20 minutes. The serviceman then comes back and says they do not have the correct part for the recall. It is my understanding that a diagnostic has to be done first in order to determine if you even need the part. He said that he would call me by Friday (took it in on Wednesday) with a day to drop it off and they would have a loaner waiting for me. I waited a week after not hearing from them and called. He acted like he did not know who I was and told me that he would have to call someone to find out what is going on. I don't have time for this crap. I called Faircy and will be taking my car to them where the diagnostic will be done. Also, every Jeep is different I found out and you have to order the part specific for that VIN number so a diagnostic HAS to be done. Just thought you might want to know this Perkins before you mislead another customer and xxxx them off. UPDATE: Thanks for the call back - NOT! Called on the 21st and was told the service manager would call me back per his request to me via comment on the reviews.. Don't bother because the service dept. has no clue as to what they are doing. I took my car to Fairicy and it was completed in 3 hours. For your edification since the service dept is obviously clueless, Chrysler JUST approved the recall. Now you have to have a diagnostic completed to determine if your car actually needs the part. The actual part will not be available for approximately 3 months in which time another letter will go out letting Jeep owners know they can now bring it in for replacement. You kept my car overnight even though I had an appointment. YOU ARE A JOKE AND NEED TO GET YOUR S*** TOGETHER AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR CUSTOMERS OUT. Michael was more interested in up-selling than knowing his job. Will never recommend nor go to your service dept for anything. And to tell me I would get a call back and not receive one tells me you could care less that I am going to put this all over the web. More
