Wonderful Experience, Wonderful People! Ok so buying a car, used or new can be and usually is a stressful situation. So many decisions, so much paperwork, and so many people giving you all k Ok so buying a car, used or new can be and usually is a stressful situation. So many decisions, so much paperwork, and so many people giving you all kinds of information. We were looking for a used cargo van for our business and I found one online at Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, NJ. I called to check availability and get some more information on the vehicle. From that first phone call I was prepared for the craziness however, I can honestly say there was no craziness. The gentleman who answered the phone, Gene Cipriano, was very nice and extremely helpful. He answered all my questions and since we live about an hour away from the dealership he took the time per my request to text me pictures inside and out of the vehicle so we wouldn't drive an hour to find it was not what we had in mind. We made an appointment that was convenient for us to go see the vehicle, unfortunately this time was not convenient for Gene. Instead of trying to reschedule he happily offered to set our appointment up with his colleague Frank Trombatura. Frank was waiting by the door for us with a warm welcome when we arrived and immediately offered us complimentary beverages. The van was actually still being worked on cleaned and detailed. Frank had it pulled out of the shop for us so we could go for a test drive. When we got back from the test drive Frank asked how we liked it, there was no hovering, no pressure he gave us a few moments to discuss and make a decision. We decided to buy the van as it was in great shape and a good deal. We went to Frank's office to do the paperwork and finalize the deal. It was a bit late at this point so we thought we'd have to drive back the next day to pick it up. Frank assured us the shop would have it ready for us by the time we completed the paperwork so we could drive it home that night. While working on the financing we were introduced to Sal Loretta. We had an out of the ordinary request for how we wanted to handle the financing through our company. Again, it was late most of the banks were closed at this point but Sal went above and beyond to make some calls and set the financing up just as we requested. Still no craziness....it was a long process but these guys made it easy and we even had some laughs along the way. When the paperwork was done the van was waiting outside for us all cleaned and detailed just as Frank told us it would be. I really have to say this was the most pleasant car buying experience we've ever had. Everyone at Pine Belt Chevy treated us like we were in there buying a brand new top of the line vehicle instead of a used cargo van. I highly recommend dealing with this company, I know we will be in market for more company vehicles over the next few years. Pine Belt Chevy will be my first phone call as I would be happy to do business with them again! More
