I bought a 2012 Tahoe on Monday, 4/30/12. Jared was my finance guy and was very knowledgeable and informative. He discussed fully the benefits of Gap Insurance and an extended "bumper-to-bumper" warranty finance guy and was very knowledgeable and informative. He discussed fully the benefits of Gap Insurance and an extended "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, over the original 3-years, 36,000 miles. I took the Gap Insurance, but declined the extended warranty because of its cost and resultant increase in my monthly payments. I departed the dealership at about 9PM. This morning at approximately 11:30 AM, Jared phoned me to let me know he was able to get a lower rate on my loan, from the night before. In effect, his efforts allowed me to extend my bumper-to-bumper coverage for an additional year and an additional 24,000 miles for absolultely nothing. That what I call going the extra yard!
