The first time I met the salesman, Pete LaPlaca I liked him. He approached me in the lot when no others did. I was impressed by this and when I spoke to him, I learned he had been with Pine Belt for over t him. He approached me in the lot when no others did. He was very courteous and lay back in his approach, which I like. Throughout the whole process he was very professional and knowledgeable. I leased a Chevy Equinox from Pine Belt and have had to contact Pete about small matters and he has always taken care of me courteously and professionally. I might add that the service Dept. is also very friendly and nice to deal with each time I'm in for service. My whole experience with Pine Belt has been very positived and satisfying. The TOTAL cost was $15 for an oil change, lube and safety check. They also saw the history of service and honored the past work and didn't try to force more work on me. More

Dan was very helpful, fair, and honest. Afterwards my wife asked me "it wasn't too painful?" I told her, just before she asked me that question I was thinking that for the first time in my life, not only was it not painful, it was almost enjoyable. I was also very pleased to find out that Pine Belt is the only dealership that has a unionized staff. I know that these days it probably doesn't want to advertise that, but if the ownership/management is willing to work with it's employees on an equal negotiating relationship for their compensation, that says a lot about the philosophy of the organization, and how it is likely to deal with the customer so a fair deal is reached. I was very happy with my purchase, experience, and price. More
