Recent repair of overheated engine I certainly appreciate the time and care it took for the ordering of the replacement engine and the repair but a month is a very long time. I would like to clarify the statement on the repair paperwork. I had driven about four miles on a local road when the a/c stopped and I saw the temperature indicator in the red. I did not drive more than a quarter mile to pull into a safe lot to call AAA. I had to go through the same experience 7 years prior. That does not seem a very long time for a 20 yr old car with low mileage. More

Overcharges and inefficient I dropped off my car and then waited 45 minutes for the shuttle service to take me to work. They need to have more then one shuttle and they should probably use a nicer car for the shuttle service. Even tho my appointment was at 8am, they didn’t get to my car until 2 pm and I was charged for 4 hours of labor for something that shouldn’t have taken more then an hour. They round up on their hours and overcharge for their services and the people at the front desk don’t go over the results with you and don’t explain the charges. They said they did what I asked; which is true, but when I asked if choosing a tire rotation and an oil change was right for 6 months/6000 miles, the lady at the front desk didn’t answer my question and kept saying they did what I asked. The customer service is terrible, they over charge for their services, and don’t make it clear as to what is necessary and what is extra. More

Easy to work with We bought a 2019 forester sport from Secor Subaru. Secor is an hour drive from our house - there are at least 3 dealerships much closer. Why did buy f We bought a 2019 forester sport from Secor Subaru. Secor is an hour drive from our house - there are at least 3 dealerships much closer. Why did buy from secor? 1) After negotiating and comparing prices at 6 area dealerships Secor had lowest price. 2) the exact model, color and options package we wanted was not readily available anywhere - Secor was by far the most willing to search for the car and get it for us. 3) Secor offered us very fair value on our trade in ($1,000 higher than another dealership). 4) I initially dealt with Mike (sales manager) over the phone and was comfortable with his transparency and eagerness to do what was necessary to earn our business. We were then introduced to the sales rep Dan and business manager Kevin who also very good to deal with and made themselves easily available to take care of a few minor things post sale. Based on my experience I’d highly recommend contacting Secor and giving them an opportunity to earn your business. More

Great service can always improve Unfortunate circumstances led to a miscommunication that my repair was complete when in fact it did not occur. Services were paid and not performed. Manager and staff were humble and very courteous. Took responsibility and solved my issue as soon as they were able. In this case, within 24 hours. Real world issues occur, it’s how you address them that counts. More
