Incompetent & unresponsive An incompetent mechanic wrecked my door doing over $2500 worth of damage to my car & neither the service manager or GM thought it was worth their tim An incompetent mechanic wrecked my door doing over $2500 worth of damage to my car & neither the service manager or GM thought it was worth their time to call us. We asked for the report from the body shop & they wouldn't send it. Had to get an estimate from our own insurance company. Than they wouldn't return our calls. We told them via email that they could proceed with the repairs as soon as they sent us a letter acknowledging the accident & outlining the steps they were taking to fix it. That was two weeks ago. No email, letter or phone call since. We asked Hyundai Corporation to help & they did nothing. All we want is some official documentation due to the large amount of damage they did. They refuse to put anything in writing. I will never buy another Hyundai. If you do, go to Johnson Hyundai in Cary. The extra 30 minutes is worth the drive. My family have none of these issues with Johnson. More

Afterwards Napoleon showed me how many of the features worked on the car - all to my satisfaction. It was an easy purchase and there were no unpleasant surprises. Of course it helped that I did my rather extensive on-line homework beforehand and knew what I would be paying for the vehicle, so this made the car buying process even more painless. I must add that Southern States really knew their stuff and kudos to Napoleon for being so helpful. More

We explained used/new SUV and our price range of 15k-18k, which was a perfect world number, but we knew for a new vehicle we would be paying more. We first test drove a used Santa Fe, which we liked, but weren't in love with. In an attempt to keep within our budget we looked at a new Tucson next. We then compared this to a new Santa Fe. We test drove both vehicles and determined that the new Santa Fe was the best fit. Throughout every test drive Chris was professional, pleasant, and just the right amount of conversational. While the dealership wasn't booming like Saturdays can sometimes be, there were still ample customers and at no point did Chris try to rush us. After negotiation we met with Alex, the finance manager, and while we weren't able to obtain the rate anticipated with my credit rating, Alex did his best and explained everything clearly. Upon driving off the lot with the new car, Chris informed me that this was the first car driven off the lot for him since returning to car sales. This made the car buying experience unique and memorable (likely for both of us). In the end I can confidently say Chris did excellent to gain our trust and was very pleasant to deal with. The same can be said of Alex. Chris did a great job of turning tire kickers into new car owners without feeling pressured to do so. More
