So many issues & time wasted trying to get problems resolved People buy ONLINE to SAVE time & the hassle of having to go into a dealership! From the moment they received my signed contracts (July 1, 2019), this People buy ONLINE to SAVE time & the hassle of having to go into a dealership! From the moment they received my signed contracts (July 1, 2019), this has been a nightmare experience! No follow up, delivery process is pathetic and it took me over a month to FINALLY get them to make right on all of the issues! Purchased a 2018 Lexus with 3,250 miles (yes THREE thousand miles- basically BRAND new) and when I finally received the vehicle after FIVE days of no follow up and getting the run around from the Delivery department (including wrong delivery dates), my car had paint splatter ALL over it! In addition, they gave me a car with a SAFETY recall which is a Compliance Violation, by the way! The very next morning, I attempted to get my trade in back and just move on, but they "claimed" that they didn't know where my trade is was... LESS than 12 hours after they took possession of it! So, I decided to give them the opportunity to make right and fix the paint splatter- they gave me an Enterprise Rental (Toyota Corolla) and had my car for FIVE days! I received it back in the same messed up condition! After wasting hours and days of my time going back and forth, Kyle S. (he was the only helpful employee there, by the way) FINALLY got approval to pay a local Lexus Dealer to clay bar my car and refinish my wheels and they are also supposed to be sending me a refund check for the $499 Delivery Fee (which I have yet to receive). My paper plate expires in 3 days and I have yet to receive my License Plates so I, once again, had to waste more of MY time this morning chasing down answers to figure out where my plates are so I won't be driving illegally with expired temp tags. I purchased my car TWO months ago and I have barely even had it in my possession this whole time due to the issues that have had to be addressed with paint splatter, safety recall, etc. Very disappointed in this whole situation. Oh, and lastly, Texas Cars Direct DOES NOT EXIST- try to call the number and see who picks up the phone (VROOM), yet my Temp Tag say I purchased from Left Gate Holding Property (who the heck is that company- NEVER HEARD OF THEM- I purchased from VROOM)! Deceptive advertising- "hand picked cars", "thoroughly inspected" hahahaha- LIES!!!! I appreciate that they FINALLY agreed to resolve my issues, but they ONLY stepped up and agreed when I finally gave them two choices: Make right OR I will have no choice but to report you to the Compliance Agencies for selling me a car with a SAFETY RECALL and Deceptive Advertising. So, they really had no choice, but to do the RIGHT thing in the situation, in all reality. Get it together, Vroom or Texas Cars Direct, or Left Gate Property Holdings- whoever the heck sold me the car?!?!?!????? More

Love my Tahoe I cant imagine ever buying another car from any where else now that I have found Texas Direct. The experience was fast, easy and I got the car I was looking for. Trust me I ALWAYS read reviews because its super helpful. My Tahoe looked even better than the picture. I cant tell you how many people have looked at my truck and was shocked at the deal I got and how super clean and fine it is. Every person I encountered through out the process lead me in my next direction. I would rather be beaten than go sit at a dealership and do that whole going back and fourth for hours thing. I called on a Wednesday then jumped on a plane Saturday at 9:00 AM and was driving my Tahoe home by 12:30. I had looked all over in my area and I saw some nice ones but just didnt have that WOW feeling and Im not spending big bucks with out the "Wow" feeling. I was sitting out front when they pulled it up for me to drive and all I could think was WOW!!! I was so excited that I drove a couple of blocks pulled over and called my husband and told him that I wasnt leaving Houston with out it. I am a new life time customer. More

It was not a good overall experience. All I can really remember is "Waiting" for hours. Waiting on the car, waiting on the salesman. Waiting on the paperwork to be prepared, waiting on the paperwork to be fixed. Waiting at my bank to get a cashiers check because the dealership would not take my business check for the down payment. And finally waiting to pick up the car the next day! This was the worse! The Salesman told us it would be ready at 11am, I said are you sure, he said yes! We got there before 11am and they finally delivered the car to us at 1:30pm. Awful! Then to top it all off. I realized halfway home I still had the trade car keys in my pocket. My fault? xxxx no! I tried to give them to the salesman, he said no give it to the delivery desk. I tried and he said no give it to the delivery guy outside. He never asked for them and all I could think of at that point was to get the xxxx out of there! So it cost me $36 to Fedex them back since I live over an hour away. More
Terrible service Bought a truck from here and got home when it started smelling like cigarettes. They have a 7 day 250 mile return policy. My son and wife rode in the car and had issues with asthma that night due to the smoke residue in the truck. When I brought it back I simply wanted to trade in this truck (134 miles later) and get one that didn’t smell like cigarettes. They charged me a $475 restocking fee and would not change the rims from the first vehicle to the second vehicle. I told them I’ll pay the $475 for the new truck if I keep the original rims. They won’t do that for any customer apparently. Needless to say I’m leaving with my original trade and taking my business somewhere they will treat customers fairly. Talked to sales manager Mike and salesman Chris and neither were willing to work with me at all. More
Annoying I hate when dealers say they’re “wholesalers”; unless you’re getting directly from auction that is bending the truth. It’s very annoying how they say their prices are fixed then add bogus fees once you’re ready to purchase. Also, just a tip for people.. never pay their dealership tax.. this tax is for business owners and should not be pawned off to the consumer. More
