Happy customer, impressed with ease of transaction. I found my dream car online, and from the time I found it until I was driving it home spanned less than a week. I called for preapproval during the work week, and when I showed up Saturday morning, my car was out front waiting for it’s test drive. there was no salesperson riding along trying to sell me in the car. I drove it around at my leisure, went to the bank to grab my down payment, and when I got back they started the sales process. It did take longer than the other cars I’ve bought, but everyone was helpful and friendly. My car was missing one of the targa tops (a $2000 exposed carbon fiber top) that was ordered, trim painted to match, and delivered to my house. The process was fairly quick, and I had a transparent top to get me by until it arrived. Everything went according to plan and I was very happy with my experience. Extra bonus, the vehicle I purchased (a 2014 LT3 Stingray) was #100/500 Coupe Premier Edition. i paid about $10,000 less than it sells for anywhere else. Whether this was an oversight on their part, or just awesome pricing, it turned out the same. I would have been satisfied without this bonus, but was estatic when I found that out. Lastly, for the complaints about plates taking a long time to arrive, that wasn’t the case at all. They came in a timely manner. More

Jason, the appraiser, takes his time and explains the appraisal and answers any questions you may have. I believe if you have a super standard situation, it is probably pretty simple to sell your car to them. The reason I say to research is that if you have any situation that is not totally cut and dry, you may have a lot of headache. We have been there 3 times with the same vehicle. We had just refinanced our vehicle, then decided the better option for our family was to sell it. When we went in to sell it, the lady at the front desk explained that since the old finance company was still on the title, they could not buy it. In order to expedite the process, we worked with the new finance company over the next week to pay off the new lien, so that we could obtain clear title and sell the vehicle. 9 days later, clear title in hand, we drove over an hour back to the Katy location, 4 young children in tow, to sell our vehicle, only to find out that Texas Direct Auto would not buy our vehicle because we had not had the title in our names for 30 days. I had read all their requirements online, and double-checked the requirements as stated on the back of the appraisal. Nowhere, nowhere does it state anything about either the refinance information or the 30-day title requirement. Jason and the wonderful lady at the Katy storefront worked really hard to try to help us, but management would not budge. I do not believe either of our situations (the refinance and the recently obtained clear title) are out-of-the-ordinary, so I do not think it should be this difficult. I understand companies have policies in place to protect themselves, but I believe these policies should be clearly stated and easily accessible. More

The process is usually easy, but I rather go to another dealer and spend a little more time any money and be happy with my purchase. More

From the check in to the close the staff was helpful and friendly without being overbearing and only worried about the sale. After countless on line searches and several dealership visits, I found my dream car at a dream price on TDA’s website This was my first visit to TDA. Once we arrived, the sales and service staff were friendly, helpful, and fast. I drove off with my new car clean, detailed, and fully serviced. I’d buy future vehicles from here in a heartbeat. More
Helpful - Not Pushy It's never fun when you "have to buy" a car, but that was my reality. I had already had negative experiences the days previous to my calling TDA. And Tyler made my decision easier than I expected. I had been kept at a couple of dealerships until 10p and my health does not allow recovery quickly. Tyler provided the numbers one evening. And the next day we made it happen. Waiting was not long when I came to pick up the car for which I am most grateful. Thanks for a positive buying experience. More
