I bought my new car from Dave Kraft. The sale started with him immediately changing the agreed upon price for the car. He made promises that were not kept once I took delivery of the car regarding some minor repairs that were needed. As a result of those items, among others, I turned in a somewhat negative survey. A couple of days later I received a voicemail, and a couple of online messages/emails from him asking me to call him immediately. I responded to him with an email explaining the situation thus far with how they had dealt with the problems and fulfilling his promises promises and why I was not satisfied. He responded asking me to request my survey back from Subaru because it hurt his bonus that quarter. Like the service department, the sales department is friendly, but provides VERY poor service. They are friendly, but that's about it. The service manager is horrible, the techs and service advisers know very little about cars in general and have extremely shoddy troubleshooting methodologies. manager is horrible, the techs and service advisers know very little about cars in general and have extremely shoddy troubleshooting methodologies. I have an issue with an imbalance in the drivetrain, and they were stumped after 4 service appointments where they were STILL trying to rule out tires. Their customer service approach hinges on smiles and fake friendliness, but the service is just not there. More
