Everything is GREAT until you request to get something fixed under warranty that they charge almost $6k for when you purchase the vehicle. I drove up and was greeted by service advisor Rosendo Puente, as fixed under warranty that they charge almost $6k for when you purchase the vehicle. I drove up and was greeted by service advisor Rosendo Puente, as soon as I told him I came in for a warranty repair on my seats, his face automatically changed and told me they were not covered. I then asked him what the warranty was for that I paid extra for? He said mechanical issues only! Then I told him, well the financial advisor said the seats were covered, so he went to look at them, and automatically said they won’t cover those stains! I told him please process my claim or give me the manager, he then said ok I’ll try. Later that day he text me to say that the insurance will not cover to replace them or even try to clean the seats ,that they denied the claim. After I told him I was going to call cooperate or ask a lawyer what they recommend, he then texted me saying they were going to “try and clean the seats” I took my car in on Tuesday, three days went by and nothing was ever communicated to me. I finally called on Friday to ask what was going on and he said oh they are just now cleaning them. Picked up my car Saturday and seats were extremely wet and with a strong odor. The best part of it all was that the seats are still dirty even after being in the shop for 4 days!!! Don’t fall into that warranty scheme when you purchase a vehicle, they are not honest and will do everything to not fix the problem. When I was talked into it, they said if the stain doesn’t come out we will automatically replace any seats or carpets that are stained. To make things better he walked me out and still had the audacity to ask me to leave a 5 star review. He also asked if he could schedule a service and when I told him sure please schedule my service for my other car, he said sure I will give you a call, til the day I haven’t heard back. I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from dealer in the last year and they treated me like I was an idiot. If you can steer away from Toyota of Cedar Park. More
Leave my air filter box screws bent after Inspection, leave batter cap unopened after persuading a new battery, leave the glove box uninstalled after inspecting cabin air filter.
