I recently purchased a used car from Beaver Toyota. Details and vehicle flaws that were promised at the time of purchase were not being taken care of. My husband and I went to Beaver once to see why it was taking so long for them to contact us and were told our sales associate was no longer with the company. Understandable, but we were then assured that someone else would help us out. A week and a half went by and no one contacted us. When I called to see if we could schedule an appointment and take care of our problems Beaver associates replied that they did not know what I was talking about. Finally, I was contacted by an employee who set up an appointment for our car to be looked at, many phone calls later and almost 2 months after our purchase. On top of that, the following day, my husband received a call that we owed more money to Beaver Toyota than was previously agreed upon the day we signed our contract. When I spoke with the general sales manager, Buddy Espinosa, I was initially "greeted" inappropriately and as though I was a waste of his time. The conversation plummeted from there. When I attempted to get an explanation of the disappointments and struggles we have encountered since purchasing our vehicle, Buddy replied by asking me if we thought the company was happy about selling us a car for such a low profit. WOW! Also, he continuously interrupted and spoke over me while I was trying to get our issues resolved. Never have I been acted towards so poorly at any sales establishment. I am appalled by the way we were allowed to be treated by someone in upper management. I would not recommend purchasing your vehicle from Beaver Toyota. In my opinion, unless they are making a large profit off of your investment, you are not a valued customer. So if low price is valued over integrity and decency, by all means purchase your car here. This is the second review I am writing, because I had two very different encounters at this dealership. I did not feel I could compile them into one review and have it be a fair rating. My first experience w very different encounters at this dealership. I did not feel I could compile them into one review and have it be a fair rating. My first experience was awful in the sales department. However, my second experience with the service department was phenomenal. I purchased a used vehicle from Beaver Toyota at the beginning of November 2011 and had some issues getting the automotive flaws and extras worked out. My husband and I went to Beaver once and called many times. Finally, more than a month after our purchase, John Livingstone, returned my call and got the scheduling issues resolved in a timely manner. I drove my vehicle in for the appointment and again had to explain the issues we were experiencing with getting a ding removed and a new key (that had already been purchased, but there was no record of it there) ordered and made. Had I not been persistent in calling, it may have taken more than the two months to get things worked out. Upon arriving at the service department I was greeted by Andy Vigil. He was friendly and helped me promptly. Once we hashed out the details and got everything in order, he led me to Rodney Gonzales. I explained that there was some confusion with the sales and financial side of our new purchase. Rodney lead me over to the Sales Center and was very informative in telling me what he was doing and who he was talking to, to assist in getting our situation resolved. Kirk Kapple, who was helping us in place of John Livingstone (because he was out of the office), got things together and got our car in and out of service. He was very hospitable throughout the process. Once my vehicle was ready Andy returned to take me to my car to make sure all was corrected, and was more than helpful and polite in loading my belongings and getting me back on the road. My experience in the service center was exceptional, I cannot speak more highly of these gentlemen and their helpfulness. More
Unfortunately a lot of miscommunication. As a sales professional I would expect things to be real clear as people don't buy cars everyday. Make sure you clearly understand what you are signing. Don't professional I would expect things to be real clear as people don't buy cars everyday. Make sure you clearly understand what you are signing. Don't wait for the loan company to call you and ask you if this is what you want. We were told by Jay that if we had not got this extra insurance that our payment would have been higher which I don't buy. Even if this were true it was only a 22.00 a month differece which didn't equal to the amount of the extra charge. We won't be coming back nor will we reccommend. If someone asks I will say if you choose to go stay away from Jay. He actually had the nerve to tell my partner I am trying real hard not to yell at you. How professional is that? More
As a salesperson -- Randy is new but he LISTENED to what I said and what I wanted. He was fair on the trade-ins and gave me a fair deal. The business manager, Sandra, made the 'paperwork aspect' of the I said and what I wanted. He was fair on the trade-ins and gave me a fair deal. The business manager, Sandra, made the 'paperwork aspect' of the process run efficiently. She explained what I needed to know and answered my questions so that I could make good decisions. And this is what it is all about, good decisions -- good buying experience. More

Great, local flavor to the whole experience. More

We hope we did an excellent job on your Prius Dear Paul, Both Tim Wierwille and I (Molly Long) are regular customers there at Beaver Toyota...and there are many reasons: Every single time we come in, we are treated with respect, courtesy, and a personable attitude. It is SO APPARENT that a spirit of professionalism and a positive morale is fostered among the service department. We feel confident in their expertise and trust the information they convey to us. Recently my 2002 Toyota Prius was there for two weeks, as a recall for the rack and pinyon (sp?) became a much bigger ordeal than anyone had anticipated. I would like to personally thank Diego, who kept me informed and reassured, and Luke, the tech who must have been going "nuts" ....no pun intended Also thank you to Tony, who efficiently arrnaged for a rental. (After driving it for 10 days, I think I might have to get myself one of those Toyota Tacomas!) And one more person we so appreciate is Andy, who has taken care of us numerous times in the past, and treats us like gold. Thanks to everyone mentioned above! Anytime the subject comes up, we sieze the opportunity to rave about Beaver Toyota service dept to others. You're wonderful More
I've purchased Toyota pick-ups five times, until now all in California. My experience at Beaver Toyota was, by far, the best and most satisfying from my initial contact with my salesman Brent Buell and our in California. My experience at Beaver Toyota was, by far, the best and most satisfying from my initial contact with my salesman Brent Buell and our work together, his boss, Kirk Kapple, and the business manager Jack Jason. My initial contact with Brent was through the net from California. From the beginning he was prompt returning e-mails and calls, and most importantly, knowledgeable about Toyota trucks, as a former owner as well as the truck specialist. Kirk's willingness to deal fairly, and his assessment of my Tacoma trade-in was fair and quick. Financing, which was through my credit union was made much easier than expected by Jack Jason. My salesman, Brent Buell, besides knowledge and affability, I feel that I have a new friend, and someone who will be responsive throughout my ownership of my Tacoma. The staff at Beaver were smart, honest, timely, and affable. The price quote was fair based on my research with Edmunds, Kelly, and the Black Book, and the trade-in was as expected. Now that I've moved to New Mexico, I will always seek out Beaver Toyota for any Toyota purchase. More
I have to say this was my most pleasant trip to purchase a vehicle. He was not pushy and wanted us to get hat we wanted and was good for our growing family. The actual finance stuff went so smooth also. This is the third Toyota we have purchased from Pico Djurkovich and probably the seventh vehicle we've bought at Beaver Toyota over the years. After searching a 500-mile radius for the RAV4 we wanted Djurkovich and probably the seventh vehicle we've bought at Beaver Toyota over the years. After searching a 500-mile radius for the RAV4 we wanted, we went back to Beaver. They let us keep the vehicle we were looking at overnight so that my husband would have a chance to drive it. And we wanted to buy locally because the Beaver sales and service staff is outstanding. A large part of the reason we bought this car was Pico Djurkovich. We consider him totally trustworthy and honest, and we truly believe he has our best interests at heart. Besides that, he is an incredibly nice person. Thank you, Pico, and the Beaver team, for making this purchase fast, easy and a win-win for everyone. Jan and Guy Best More
