Sales people were helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. They were able to get the car I wanted in a reasonable amount of time. I don’t know if I will ever get over the $5,000.00 mark-up, above sticker price, just because there is a shortage of inventory. I am 59 years old, have bought many cars, and have always paid less than the sticker price. To me this just stinks of price gouging. I needed a new car though, my Hyundai Veracruz had over 220,000 miles, and was just a little too unreliable for long trips, so, I paid the price. Because of my happiness over the years with my Hyundai, I wanted to stay with the brand. All the Hyundai and Kia dealers in the area had similar “shortage” mark-ups, so I purchased from the Weston dealership. If there was a Toyota model that I liked I would have purchased at a local Toyota dealership advertising that they are not marking up price because of shortages. I have been very happy with my new car, Weston dealership, and Mike Amini and Jaspreet Singh who guided me through the buying process. I have two daughters graduating college, one next month and one next year, who will both be needing cars. Will I recommend to them Hyundai/Kia products and Weston dealership? It all depends on how much the sting of price gouging still hurts. More
