Purchased & sold many vehicles in my life, hands down, worse car buying experience ever. There appears to be a lot of inconsistencies, lack of communication & zero integrity going on here. There's not enough room to write, to even begin to warn consumers so sadly it'll have to be brief. HUGE RED FLAGS 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks VIN#3FMCR9C64MRA01757, Stock #D12138A - Sales Reps new, know nothing about vehicles & no attempt to find out answers to questions. Areli although kind, fit this bill. - Vehicle not as advertised or presented on site as clean inside/out yet in person was absolutely disgusting inside!. Filthy. Heavy debris over every inch of floors, white food/liquid spilled on top of rear seat, debris imbedded into seats. Thoroughly embarrassing and unprofessional for the dealer - Gas light on during test drive, alone - Auto hold check light on, when questioned, Natasha, Sales Manager advised "Well, it's under manufacturer warranty". No assurance it'd be fixed prior to purchase, more or less insinuated that was on us to fix. - MAJOR milage discrepancy. Again, not as advertised on site. Vehicle pic posted on dealer site as 17,583.3 yet listed on all sites including theirs as 32,613, yet odometer read 19,722.4 HUGE red flags waved for possible vin swap. Natasha asked to see ad, we had & cross referenced vin. She confirmed was correct vehicle but "Someone must've made a mistake & entered the wrong milage" Next day, Natasha advised she "Thought what had happened was it was entered as km and not miles. Adam Larson, identified as GM, stated this as well. However, math does not compute, that would be 20,264.7 miles - Vehicle on lot for 61 days, Kwok, identified as General Sales Manager, claims can sell for $33K yet posted at $27,590? W/in those 61days, vehicle had 2,139.1 placed on it. Confirmed being used as loaner or employee car. After, 3 days deep w/attamepts to purchase vehicle, I offered $26K. 2nd offer, meet inK at $26,795. They come down $795, I'll come up $795. Natasha, Kwok & Adam all attempted ZERO negotiations and let me walk for $795. Unheard of for a dealer to not enter into negotiations not to mention, the poor and misleading customer interaction alone warrants negotiations. - Dealer has poor ratings across board. When asked Natasha to pull Carfax as 2 major recalls showing as not fixed, she advised they don't use Carfax but pulled anyway? Kwok, advised, "Yes, we do!" yet, Adam Larson confirmed they in fact do not. - Dealer not part of Ford Certified program. A 21' with 19k miles which would qualify, could not be Certified. Adam advised they chose not to buy into due to cost. - Adam Larsen only apologized for misinformation provided & poor customer service. Said I should've been informed day 1 that car was priced as is. He's fully aware of dealer faults & let cash paying, 3 dy invested & customer walk over $795. He was too busy talking over me, trying to explain how long employees involved worked there, what their level of experience was, ,market values etc than selling a vehicle that is clearly not moving. I am fully convinced dealer incorrectly priced vehicle w/32k miles on it & did everything in their power to foil purchase for me so they can turn around & re-post it with correct milage & price as they knew I had them with potential false advertisement as well as not honoring the accurate milage/price. As of today, the vehicle has already been re-posted with correct milage. - Inaccuracies with milage, advertisement & pricing - Kwok ILLEGALLY asked "How much can I pay you to not give us a bad review" - Showing vehicles in poor, unclean and unsafe conditions - Customer Service standards low, not recognize value w/cash paying consumer purchasing non certified, 1st edition vehicle w/2 major recalls, one which had no proof of fix @ 19k milage, Dash warning light present, major milage discrepancy, new tires needed, filthy vehicle condition, gas light on, uneducated staf More
We had an amazing time buying a new truck. I thought it was going to be horrible but Sound Ford was the complete opposite. Thank you Joe and Dave for making it so easy. We bought a new Bronco marked up way over MSRP. We knew it was expensive, but the car was hard to get, so we figured we’d splurge. One sticking point was it had the cheap bumper. We negotiated with We knew it was expensive, but the car was hard to get, so we figured we’d splurge. One sticking point was it had the cheap bumper. We negotiated with the dealership to replace the bumper with the better modular version. We even wrote it in the purchase paperwork as work owed to us. They had us drop it off once a month later (can’t get parts was the claim), but never touched it. Then they said they wouldn’t do it. They offered $100 in compensation. When we refused they just stopped talking to us or returning our calls. Looks like it’s heading to a lawyer. Do not trust them. Do not trust anything they say. If there is work pending on the vehicle you’re buying, insist that it be done BEFORE you take delivery. If they say no, walk away. Life is too short to deal with their lying xxxxx. More
On the way home from buying a used Jeep Wrangler 4xe from Sound Ford, I got a warning that my front right blinker was out. I hadn't noticed that when I test drove it. It turns out that the whole assembly wit Sound Ford, I got a warning that my front right blinker was out. I hadn't noticed that when I test drove it. It turns out that the whole assembly with the blinker and side marker was out, the bezel was cracked, and there was water sloshing around inside. Then I found out from the Jeep dealer that replacing all that would cost around $700! I had assumed that they had screwed me over. However, when I called them to complain, they agreed to fix it even though I had bought it "as is" and they legally weren't required to do anything. It took them a couple of weeks to get the parts, but their sales manager actually came to my house in Everett, picked up the car, and fixed it for me. He returned it 90 minutes later with a whole new light assembly installed, and didn't charge me anything. Now my rig is good as new! This is some of the best customer service I've ever seen from a car dealership. More
By far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I usually never really leave reviews but this one I felt is needed. No communication on their end when I was trying to purchase a vehicle. A had. I usually never really leave reviews but this one I felt is needed. No communication on their end when I was trying to purchase a vehicle. A employee named Rits I believe is her name started to help me with and help me with the process. Mid way through the process she completely stops communicating with me. I reached out to her maybe 4-5 times, leaving voicemails and messages. I even contacted other employees there to try and get in touch with her to no avail. A couple days go by there is still no response to any of my messages but I notice the truck that she started to help me purchase was sold. I wish that there would’ve been some sort of courtesy/professionalism to let me know so instead of just ignoring me. I would recommend for people to take their business elsewhere. More

I managed to get few dollars refund but overall felt treated like a cash machine. Dealerships want your money and you know it but these people don't apparently care about their reputation either. Update: I would like to edit my review as I received a call from the manager Adam Larson. I met with him and Joe Seppen to go over my paperwork and make everything. I have a better perception and I thank Adam and Joe for their service. I will come back. More

On May 1st 2023 it wouldn't start and after being towed back to the dealership. After having it for almost a week, it was finally diagnosed as a PCM fault. With no part available, and none even in manufacturing! We were given a # to call at Ford Motors with our Case # by one of the service guys. No help there. The part MAY be available in 4 months, but could be up to a year. After asking TWICE, a rental car was offered, but we never received one. Unless you know the extension, you can't call directly and have to leave a vmail that says they only check messages once a day. Countless calls unanswered, finally found the Service Mgr with a Google search. He answered, but was of no real help and kicked us back to the first guy, who while nice, is just the messenger. In addition to all this, they won't buy it back because it's not running. We have just one vehicle, and our house sells in about a month - we're screwed. More

DO NOT take your vehicle here for service! Absolutely gouging labor rates and an absolute xxxx show of a service department. Do your own work or find a shop that actually cares about its customers through a friend. I trusted this dealership to do great work while I'm all the way across the country so I didn't have to do it myself and they made me lose two whole days of work, too much money and it wasn't even done right. I recently brought my truck in for service at Sound Ford (brake pad change, oil change, tire rotation, and to adjust my parking brake). I supplied my own parts, oil and event lubricants. I dropped the truck off at 9AM in the morning and had to wait until 4PM for them to be finished with it. Paid absolutely eye watering labor prices just to drive the truck down the street one block and notice the warped rotors/jerking while braking (they turn rotors as part of part of their brake service). They obviously didn't test drive it which is very concerning given that they're doing BRAKE WORK. The rotors should've been checked before putting everything back together even before a test drive. After I brought the truck back immediately they acted as though it was out of their control and the truck needed new rotors. I left to sleep on my decision as I had just paid an astronomical amount of money for this work to find out that my parking brake STILL DOESN'T WORK ($200 down the drain) and my brakes were worse off than when I came in! (Rotors not warped when I arrived) I returned in the morning and stated that I would buy the new rotors, but I would NOT be paying any more labor charges, and the service advisor said that he would have to check with his supervisor. Fine. After dropping the truck off again I received a phone call saying that they'll "Meet me in the middle"' at another $175 just to install the new rotors. I called them back and said don't touch my truck, I will do the work myself. I bought the rotors leaving promptly, and brought the truck home and installed the rotors myself in less than 2 hours. They didn't even try to make things right or work with me on a mistake that they had made and clearly didn't learn a lesson from it. They don't know how to take care of you or take pride in their work, so don't give them the opportunity to screw you over. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. More
