Exceptional auto buying experience! I was very skeptical going to Vroom. I had NEVER even considered using a service such as this for fear of it being a nightmare scam. I figured buyin I was very skeptical going to Vroom. I had NEVER even considered using a service such as this for fear of it being a nightmare scam. I figured buying local was bad enough, why open a can of worms using this type of service? Whoa!, was I wrong! I shopped via their online inventory, found a few vehicles I was interested in, however they were not in yet. I live within about a 6 hr drive to their location in Houston, so that was my plan...to go check it out in person when they arrived on their lot. I asked the sales rep to keep me posted, which he did perfectly. I didn't trust the total online purchasing & delivery option. Can't say if I would ever do the delivery option, but the purchasing in person was exceptional!! My sales rep was Melvin Santiago...couldn't ask for better! He went above & beyond working with me. Super nice, friendly, professional, efficient, knowledegable, helpful...NEVER pushy. Tim Thomas in the finance dept was just as wonderful as Melvin. I have to say I've never had an auto buying experience as easy & comfortable as this one. The vehicle I chose is beautiful, is sound so far (have had it for a month now), and I'm extremely happy with my purchase! I'm also happy to report that the formal license plate & registration arrived this week...long before the temp plate expires in August. By the way, the facility is awesome there in Houston. It's nothing like any regular car dealership I've ever been to. Rest assured I will be recommending Vroom to all I know who are in need of purchasing a vehicle! Thanks Vroom, Melvin, & Tim!!! More
Very uneventful, straight-forward visit. Wanted a car, i walked in and i purchased a car in under 1hr 30min. Shout out to Benard and i can't for the life of me remember the finance guy's name. I bought two vehicles through Vroom. The first one smoke was coming from the tail pipe due to an engine problem. Once I returned to service. It was so bad they wouldn't fix it, and finally gave me a refund was coming from the tail pipe due to an engine problem. Once I returned to service. It was so bad they wouldn't fix it, and finally gave me a refund after almost 2 weeks. The second vehicle I bought arrived 2 weeks AFTER the delivery date. It had a few condition imperfections that were not disclosed when I purchased. I brought to service to get fixed. Not sure how long it will take since they didn't give me a time-line. They did send me a $200 check, but that barely covers the gas, time, childcare, wiring fees that all of this has caused me. I just want a car! The only positive experience was dealing with one of the sales reps Jose, but a lot of these problems were out of his hands. More

I purchased a vehicle for my son's graduation on Saturday, June 28. I learned by way of email that I will be furloughed do to Covid 19. Do to these circumstances, I could not keep the vehicle for my Saturday, June 28. I learned by way of email that I will be furloughed do to Covid 19. Do to these circumstances, I could not keep the vehicle for my son which was extremely horrible to say the least. I called on Monday, as soon as the dealership opened to let them know I could not keep the vehicle do to loosing my job. They instructed me to bring the vehicle in and everything will be taken care of. I was met at the dealership with the salesman I purchased the car from, John Busany.. I explain my situation and he tells me you have a $600 restocking fee. I told him I bought the car not even 24hrs. ago and I have lost my job! He tells me " "sorry it's our policy." I then ask to speak to a manage, named JIMMY. I Told him my situation and the reason for the return. As callous and unempathetic, he looks at me and says, "sorry it's our policy." I called VROOM corporate to get any type customer service. I was told by a supervisor that they have the discretion to wave the fees and he stated do to your circumstances, they should absolutely assist you. I spoke back to JIMMY, the manager in Houston at TEXAS DIRECT AUTO, again and told him what the supervisor stated; I too reiterated my situation being that I lost my job. He absolutely did not care!!!I looked at the other manager, STEPHANIE and told her as well. She said, "Sorry". Please Please Please!!! Do Not Do Business With People who would take $600 from a customer after purchasing a car and returning within 24hrs. And have lost their job do to Covid 19!!!!!!! I would not buy toilet paper from a company with service such as this. Buy from a dealership that believes in caring for their customers and believes in relationship building!!! I found that at STERLING MCCALL TOYOTA but my salesman there had also furloughed. ExTremely Poor Service!!! I will speak to the GENERAL MANAGER to see it I find some type of service and resolution. Employees are very helpful and approchable, the location are very colorful and comfy to stay inside while waiting for the appraisal.
