My ex husband negotiated the purchase of a vehicle for our teen. The vehicle came with only one key, and no owners manual. It has now been more than two months and the vehicle still has temporary plates. our teen. The vehicle came with only one key, and no owners manual. It has now been more than two months and the vehicle still has temporary plates. No one can tell me when the permanent plates will come in. Selling a car with only one key and no owners manual felt pretty shady, but now this business with not getting the plates taken care of, and not giving any information on timing of the permanent plates seems even weirder. I know cars are pricey right now and most of us are going to look for the best deal possible. In retrospect I wonder whether it would have been worth paying a bit more to work with a more reputable business, and end up with two keys, an owners manual, and a permanent plate. The whole experience just feels off to me. I would not do business with them again. More

More specifically, I'd like to recommend my salesperson, Douglas Ramirez. He was not only extremely genuine and a gentleman, but also a true professional. Leaving with a new vehicle, but the more time I spent talking to Douglas about my current situation, the more I was inclined. His years of knowledge and experience in car sales was far superior to the salesman I found at other local dealerships. His approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all. After doing my homework and shopping, I knew the deal he needed to make things work for me. At no point did I have to go to the math with Douglas to get that deal. He found a way to make it work for me and I couldn't have asked for much more than that. Not only was I able to leave Texas Direct with a new Dodge Challenger but I also left with my dignity intact.
