From their "management" team's sedate attempts at intervention with their less than optimal sales team to the children in the financing department that do not do what is in the best interest of the customer, they have lost my business. I trade my vehicles nearly yearly and I will now find a more competent dealership to work with. If this is the future of this dealership (coming under the VROOM umbrella) I would not do business here. More

Sales Rep Yelled at us! I had the WORST experience at Texas Direct Auto Stafford location. From walking in with the very unprofessional front desk staff (chit chatting/cursin I had the WORST experience at Texas Direct Auto Stafford location. From walking in with the very unprofessional front desk staff (chit chatting/cursing/laughing) in front of customers was our first impression To the last conversation we had complaining with the manager.. We were looking to trade my husbands truck in for a car and our sales person (Lupe) from the start was VERY RUDE to us. He offered a very low offer for our trade in so we told him we would sell to someone who we knew wanted to purchase the truck, then he proceeded to talk about our personal information and credit in front of everyone around us. He was being very unprofessional and really talking down to us. EVERYONE sat around watching and listening to him as he humiliated my husband and I. The next day we sold our truck to someone for twice the amount that TDA wanted to give us and we went back to TDA to talk with Lupe (If it were up to me I would have never went back but my husband really wanted to buy this car) and when we told Lupe that we now had a down payment and wanted to purchase that new car he got upset with us that we didn’t trade in our truck and told us that was a huge mistake and stormed off. We sat in the lobby puzzled for an hour before we could find him and when we found him he rudely asked us to come to his cubicle and proceeded to raise his voice at my husband (and no my husband was not giving him a reason to yell nor was my husband raising his voice back) This tone that Lupe had was mind blowing to me, I have never experienced this kind of customer service in my life! long story short - it took 8 days for them to finally say NO we didn’t approve for a car because the pay stubs needed to be W2 pay stub?!!! If he only worked for a company for 3 months, how are you suppose to have a W2?! We went back and forth leaving voicemails and emails and would never get a call back, we simply wanted to know why the bank would need a W2 and not just your standard pay stubs. They would hang up on our calls, sent rude text messages to my husband saying (I’m not going to waste my time, the bank is not going to approve these pay stubs) I spent days trying to reach a general manager and ended up talking to someone at the Dallas office and they began to tell me how horrible the customer service is at the Stafford location!!! THEIR OWN STAFF knows how horrible they are!! I couldn’t believe that even after talking to management that nothing was done. I felt like we were xxxx and unimportant. They honestly brushed us off like they didn’t have time to hear us out and wanted us to be gone. SO we left, went down the road and within MINUTES were approved for a car and drove out with it within 2 hours!! I will never set foot in Texas Direct Auto and I will never recommend them, actually I will steer people clear of that place. It’s been a few weeks since this charade happened and I’m still in shock at how horrible we were treated. This place is a scam and I hope no one else goes through what we did. More

Bad experience!! BAD customer service, BAD management and BAD experience overall. I traded my 2016 Mercedes S63 AMG for an American muscle car Dodge Hellcat with 1 BAD customer service, BAD management and BAD experience overall. I traded my 2016 Mercedes S63 AMG for an American muscle car Dodge Hellcat with 1700 miles on it. In the beginning the Sales Guy that helped me ( Rigo) was really good. He told me that if we close the deal they will detail my car, make sure everything is good, check all fluids and give it to me with a full tank of gas. I never requested that but I thought it was great deal! Well all of that NEVER happened!! The Car was filthy dirty and the tank was empty. A couple of days after I bought the vehicle it started leaking something from the middle exhaust area. So I took it to them talked to (Ralph) over at customer service and he took my vehicle to get it check. I tried emailing him, calling him and nothing 0 response whatsoever, so I drove to the dealer and found out that my car was ready since the morning and they said it was nothing wrong, not leaks found everything was good.... I drove the vehicle for 1 or 2 more days and then an engine light came up, called them and they said if it is not blinking I'm safe and it will go away on his own. After that the I got a message in my dash saying my "IC coolant is low and oil level is low " again they never check the vehicle and all fluids before they sold it to me. It's like they do not inspect their vehicles before selling them. That same Saturday I intended to leave the house early AM and my car never turned on....I had it towed to the dealer after having to go my self and talk to the sales manager ( Ron). I explained the whole situation with the vehicle that I purchased from them 5 days ago and I already had 4 issues. Long story short, the tow service took it that same day because I went and talk to the manager directly, otherwise the car would still be sitting in my garage. Of course all the mechanics at service that Saturday were off so nobody will be able to look at it until Monday. (Joe) " the manager"at service was the guy assigned to my vehicle. I emailed him a couple of times to get an update in the vehicle and of course he never answered me. I called a couple of times until I got a hold of him and he told me that they will not be able to fix the vehicle there and that they will have to have it tow led to a dodge dealer now. They wanted to tow it to a dealer close to them and far from me so I talked to the manager again to have it tow led to a dealer of my preference. The two different tow truck companies that work with Texas auto direct that towed my vehicle Scratched the front bumper ( I'm having to replace it) and broke the middle console in order to put the car in neutral.... finally, the car is SAFE at the dodge dealer after 3 days of nightmare with these guys at Texas Direct Auto in Stratford Texas. Seriously think twice before you buy from them. it is a total scam since they can't back up their word for a second. Horrible do not recommend them at all! Bad dirty business. More

The brakes were squeaking and they told me it was because ceramic brakes make noise occasionally. However, if there was any issues other than that they would take care of me. I took my car to Audi and they said my rear rotors and pads and front pads were completely shot. I called Texas Direct back and they did everything in their power to not help me until they agreed to inspect it again. The first time they inspected it they said my vehicle was within specs the second time they inspected they said "oh the rear pads and rotors need to be changed but the front is fine" even though Audi specified the front wasn't fine. They fixed my rear rotors and brakes and I still had horrible noise I reached out to them again and all the management and customer service said that they will not fix it because it wasn't on the Audi parts list. When I corrected them and told them it was on the parts list they said "we understand but we will not approve the repairs". I took my vehicle to another ASE certified shop after Texas Direct Auto touched my vehicle and the shop showed me broken screws on my front caliper and that the pads were below 4mm even though the service department at TDA consistently lied to me. I purchased a $50,000 vehicle from TDA and in the first week of owning I have spent $6,000 on brake work. I was told that they would take care of me and they lied to me and laughed in my face. When I said if you can't make it right just take the vehicle back and I will do business elsewhere the customer service rep said "we would be more than happy to take the vehicle back but it will not be for the same price you bought it for." I was lied to by the sales agents Tylanvis Jones, Briana Davis, Rod Smith, and the entire service department. They lied to me, deceived me, and tricked me into buying a $50,000 vehicle that doesn't even meet the quality of a 1999 rusted Corolla. More
Very smooth transaction and I'm happy with the vehicle When I initially called, the sales rep on the phone wasn't fully informed and said the final sale number was much higher that I was willing to pay. I When I initially called, the sales rep on the phone wasn't fully informed and said the final sale number was much higher that I was willing to pay. I called back and worked with Mark Roberts who was very good to work with and got me a final number very quickly, which was hundreds lower than the price the first rep quoted me. It took a total of 9 days to put down a deposit and have the car delivered to my front door in South Dakota. I spent less time sending/receiving paperwork with them than I have sitting in a local dealership, which was nice. This is my 3rd "sight unseen" vehicle purchase, and probably the best one so far. The vehicle itself (2013 BMW 328i w/70k miles) was delivered in very good condition, with the exception of a broken trim piece with cost me $40 to replace - I didn't bother going after them for it since the rest of the car is very good. No matter how many pics are posted online, there's nothing like seeing a vehicle in person and I wasn't disappointed. While it wasn't exactly a "great deal", considering the free delivery and low dealer fees (compared to much of the country), I feel like I paid the correct market value for the car. I will certainly consider them again for my next vehicle. More
